A warm spring night
and my thoughts turn 
to my lovers embrace 
which is my soul’s delight.
As she holds me  I soar
through time and space
to a dream world where
the past is no more.

perfumed with elixir fumes.
Butterflies visit with glee,
sharing nectar with the bee.
Was ever a petal born?
That would leave beloveds torn,
not from its shard like sharp thorn,
but its sweet splendour in morn.
If it could be evergreen,
in my garden it'd be queen.

In the saintlier man flashing lamps of truth
With wise sayings and rhymes that soothe,
To let the past sinful modes return to dust.

Out the hasty hand that tosses love and care,
In the more careful soul that tolerates all
With a heart that does not let its beloveds fall,
The caring spirit that treasures all jewels rare....

I shine happy
   with all   You have given me
   in this life...

what has been shown me, 
   in the eyes   of my beloveds,
   in the pawprints   of the racoon,
the pink sunset dust
powdered lightly   on the white cover
   of bibulous clouds,
the oil painting beauty   of a rose.

I prop open my door
   to these sights
   with my clay foot,
my face   flushed with awe....

A bright light in our lives
That was always so giving
Could not have been sweeter
Nor softer in manner.
To fade into history

O’er all of the rest
And whose absence will be felt

As a vagabond.
When you can't find your niche,
And you need to belong.
There's no place like home.
And you just cant return.
When the hunt is lost,
Destination en route,
Halts excruciating,
Foundations removed,
No place like home,
Stranded to brood.

And Strangers invade.
'too soon' trivializes,
And tidbits remain.

No place less sane....
