Last Shot Unheard

Is a Poem one,
  or a thousand words

 The bee sting fatal,
  —last shot unheard

Bee Sting

Bee whirred,
the wings,
making that,
sound,
I was occupied in that,
thinking what it meant,
I discovered it truly,
only when it had stung.

Spring Forward

There was a gymnast,from Biejing
Who tried to perform the handspring
   But he took, a nosedive
   Knocking over a hive
And ended up,with a bee sting.

Woman Sues R.J. Reynolds Over Son's Tobacco-Related Death

it started

as fevered

bee sting

on tongue—

then lips

gone

like beaver-gnawed

tree stumps—

then the chin

till like

some ruined

Greek statue

you lay

still

awaiting

a new chance—

the planting

in warm earth

to grow again

Trust Has

I need to trust
Before everything combusts
I try my best
But then there's another test
I need to quit thinking the worst
Or we will be hurt
Trust is a hard thing
That it sometimes feels like a bee sting
How do I trust
That it's needed to be discussed
I get a bad feeling
That some things feel unrevealing
Will I ever learn to trust
That I feel some disguss

Premium Member My Earliest Memory: a Bee Sting

Buzzing around the sun
Green glistening with skin
As I finger-poke for fun
And bleed open my sin

Brother runs out from the shouts
Pouring peroxide on the prick
While in the mirror I see the doubts
Band-aid wrapping round to stick.

Memory fades from there
As hallways slip into darkness
The mind a wandering hare
The heart the harrowing lightness.

Love Revisited

I am older now, with a heart that's bound.
I am lost after, being once so found.

Can you carry then, the heavy feelings?
It's not just the young, who cut loves dealings.

It's up in the air, how you'll handle this.
When love is renewed, with a single kiss.

And you remember, when you were young.
That like a bee sting, with love you were stung!

Poet Bee

Butterflies flit to flowers
serenity in the shade
reclined adirondack chair
a buzzzz interrupts...

Ouch, bee sting "bites me", in pain,
I run for the cortisone.
Impossible! metered buzzzz
...off to find Cyndi!

*Tag, Cyndi's it! I wasn't going to enter this contest, but decided I couldn't
miss out on all the fun.

Mad Bee

I wrote this poem about my first ever encounter with a busy bee ..

A mad bee I did see
A little girl that was me
The bee I wondered if it could understand
So I tickled its belly with a stick and
It looked at me and said
"That's it!'
I turned on my heel and ran like the wind
The mad bee flew after me bent on revenge
I let out a scream and My mad bee flew in

I've never been quite the same since the bee sting

A Bee Sting

In the catacomb of love
Honey makes' the Bees' sting
                  -
Feelings' fit nothing like
             Gloves
                  -
But there is nothing like
  Trouble sleeping in
The Catacomb of Love
When my Heart dare not
Flutter at the sound of love
Buzzing around my ears'
And Thy Heart thus sing'
In a infinite algorithms'
             -Of-
Oh, Who is to say,
What could
      There be
A sympathy filled
With Harmony

             GF
