Farcebook

Farcebook is being rebranded
Because it was never candid
So now what you'll see
Is likely to be
A true Mar-a-Lago band-aid!

The Fix Is In

Stick a band-aid on it, patch it up
Say I'm sorry, it'll go away...

Next time it happens, you'll know what to do
The very same thing -- what tightens the screw

Aids

Once there was a man called Spray Aids.
Believed mighty powers will come for aid.
Equity aids the vigilant soul.
Band aid for wounded soul.
Bloody, ha ha ha, helping hands, AIDS!

The Surprise

Building castles on a sandy beach I left to gather up more sand But, in one castle, a shock Ran through my wind-blown locks Castle, occupied Sand crab resides Pinched finger Band-aid Time.

An Ode

To this splendid crimson trail
Seeping from my seam
My self ripped open wide
To ease the pain to stream

Such tangible direction
With the razor comes control
After felt named and tasted
To put a band-aid on the hole

Hemaphobia

Blood trickling down his skin,
And I was frozen solid.
I could not come to his aide.
Hemaphobia can be a big pain.
There stood my brother,
Aged three-and-a-half.
He wanted his big sister
To get him a band aid
And a kiss on the wound.
But, I stood frozen in fear.

Drugstore 'Re-Post'

Friends are like drugstore
They provide:
The liquid to ease cough caused by handsomeness
The ointment to cover scars caused by scratching truth
The pills to ease irritation caused by lies
The band-aid to collect yourself up after shattered by love

Thanks friend for healing us up

Because We Must

Addiction is a hole left open,
A bullet-wound unshut,
It's something left unspoken,
A band-aid covering up a cut,

And we, unmarching soldiers,
Fight, fight, fight
Filling holes with clouds of lust,
And why, there's no such
answer...
Except, because we must,

Because we must.

Costumes and Laughs

      A mask to conceal
         a costume to hide behind
A dozen laughs kill the pain
         a couple drinks anesthetize

Any way it’s sliced or diced
          a band-aid halts the blood
Though memory lurks in darkling queue
          to ope all wounds anew

The Crook

I'm tired of pretending
I'm perfect inside
When really I'm a monster
With secrets to hide.

I band-aid my emotions.
I filter the way I look
I expect to feel authentic
When really I'm a crook.

I'm tired of pretending
I'm ready to break free
I don't want to be a monster
I just want to be me.

Band Aid

Better watch what you say
All of us are somewhat fragile, and
Not everyone is happy.
Don't put her down or she'll be six feet underground, please.
All of us are children of God.
Insults aren't how we treat one another, and don't let their
Death can't cause you to take back what you said, it's to late.

Sometimes, You Just Can'T Fix a Broken Heart

You can't put a band-aid on it, kiss it, and make it feel better.
You can't hold it tight and absorb the hurt.
You can't ignore it and wish it would go away.
It doesn't have a perfect ending.
It doesn't always have a rhythm
Or a rhyme.
There is no clear beginning,
Middle,
Or end.
And it's still broken.

Words

Maybe I write to purge myself of feelings; failure regret disappointments that made me this harsh desert. So maybe each word a band-aid healing my soul turning desert to garden. Each line a spoonful of soil, each verse a seed, each poem flowers. How long until my garden blooms?

The Blue Bandaid

The Blue Bandaid

on the track to the river
the red shoe
green skirt
blood stained knickers
splatter on the trail
the hacked off hand
the offhand remark
brings you back
to where you were
the blue band aid
on the river track
was forensic evidence
of a gruesome
rape murdercase
of yet another
innocent child

Painted Memories

 She painted her memories
 in images surreal
Trying to hide scars reality would reveal
 A band-aid of illusions
 To alleviate the pain,
 Some memories are traumatic
 with wounds that wont heal
She tries holding back the tears
but the pain she can't conceal
 As she paints memories
 in images surreal

Good & Bad

You are my foe
You are my ally
You are my hero
You are my bad guy

You are my sunshine
You are my moon
You are my 90° weather
You are my typhoon

You are my highs
You are my lows
You are my band-aid
You are my blood when it flows

You are my good
You are my bad
You are the worst
You are the best girlfriend
I ever had

My Earliest Memory: a Bee Sting

Buzzing around the sun
Green glistening with skin
As I finger-poke for fun
And bleed open my sin

Brother runs out from the shouts
Pouring peroxide on the prick
While in the mirror I see the doubts
Band-aid wrapping round to stick.

Memory fades from there
As hallways slip into darkness
The mind a wandering hare
The heart the harrowing lightness.

Valentine's

What is a valentine?
Is it a person, you love for life?
Or someone who you dine?
No, I believe it a true love.
The one God had mind.
Your perfect match.
Not just a band aid patch.
No, a true valentine???
Is God ultimate design.
The one better then wine.
Your true love for eternity,
Not a NSA
For a day or two a week
But Valentine is precious diamond to keep.

An Unruly Member

From man's tongue
flows both honey of the hive
and the sting of bees.
Many go about
telling half truths, tickling ears,
and casting stones.
The tongue,
is not the problem per se,
but a symptom of the problem.
Using self diagnosis,
many make attempts to Band-Aid
(or control) the tongue,
oblivious to the fact
that the real need
is a transplant. (change of heart)

Stuck

I'm Stuck,
Hard Times,
Bad women,
And horrible luck all adhere to me,
Pain's Band-aid,
A magnet even,
Attracting struggle,
I am what i am,
Pain and Anguish,
Wrapped in a smile,
But really,
I'm Stuck,
Foolish Choices creep upon me,
I try to run,
But my Nervous Future is in front of me,
Blocking my path,
Nowhere to run
Nowhere to hide,
One place to stay...
STUCK.

Emotional Upheaval

Transparent happiness ripples in the wind that
Carries me into twilight
Invisible feelings sparkle in the moonlight then
Drip onto naked skin

Verity
quickly covered
Hidden,
Like shadows in the dark

Fear keeps me silent.

Silliness
like a band-aid ripped off
Is stinging truth

The heart on my sleeve
A deceptive impression of
Secrets buried deep

Will you be my shoveling muse?
