The Blue Bandaid
on the track to the river
the red shoe
green skirt
blood stained knickers
splatter on the trail
the hacked off hand
the offhand remark
brings you back
to where you were
the blue band aid
on the river track
was forensic evidence
of a gruesome
rape murdercase
of yet another
innocent child
