The automobile

a deafening thud
seatbelt hurriedly fastened
a fender bender
a cell phone quickly hidden
s/he can't explain what happened

flowers in conversation
or
confrontation
in white-bright light.
duet, leaning
as if elbowing the window
of an automobile,
glaring-blank stare.
the other with violet eyes -
the kind
that drives the point
home.

The automobile breezes
down the liquorice whip,
nonpareil dotted roadway
as the searing sun strobes lances
through the frozen forest;
piercing projections, phospheneal auras,
dance as retinal afterthoughts
within the cornea of man.
A horse, a bicycle, an automobile
What can possibly go wrong
Engine and brake fails to carjack steals
With my two feet, same old song
So I rely on buses, trains and planes
fewer accidents ~ more strain
Despite the writing skill
The drive,ambition and will
Sometimes I feel
I should just give up and kneel
Someone else should take the wheel
And drive this Poetic automobile
I’m putting all this potential on a shelf
Lately I have not been feeling myself
They were originally installed to scare livestock off of the road,
but now they're used simply because people don't have any self control.
If I had my way I'd remove every horn from every automobile.
They now only add to the noise pollution that none of us need to hear.
Beautiful mountains lost in the haze.
Haze made from the mad human maze.
Maze of trains and automobile craze.
Craze of selfishness and polluted days.
Days of unlimited resources, nothing to faze.
Faze not, but the next generation dearly pays.
Pays forever is where the future of the human lays.

had a bad day so I took off my clothes
running and running through paths of concrete
and the sweet smell of ripe canteloupe on my head
free as a bird
letting myself finally fly
everyone stares as an automobile swerves to miss me
te bright sun shining on my beautiful skin
God intended it like this
"I'm a hamster! I'm a hamster!"

One must ascend approximately
Ninety-eight hewn stone stairs
To reach the hell that is
Forgetting what it means
To live at the bottom of the hill
Or one may forgo this education
And travel swiftly up and down
By automobile
Naming this purgatory life
And eternal bliss a television
Viewed from a leather couch
Artfully turned away from the window
He loved fruit of the vine when out to dine
It made his head whirl with feeling divine
But he got behind the wheel
Of his old automobile

automobile
Street lamps
billboard lights freezing
The heavy rain late night
sweeps away
an old man
he can't straighten his bent back
he takes a hard breath
white breath to the air
scatter
by his beside
covered their heads with summer clothes
A couple laughing out loud
It passes
cigarette smoke staying in the place
left behind.
Life is.........
An opportunity use it
A gift accept it
A struggle fight it
Painful endure it
A puzzle solve it
A duty perform it
A game play it
A code decipher it
An automobile ride it
A mystery unfold it
A refreshment enjoy it
A sorrow overcome it
A promise fulfil it
A decision take it
A tragedy face it
A challenge meet it
A seed sow it
A journey complete it.

They've no doctors to alleviate pain
nor nutritionists to stem weight gain
No carpenters to build them a domicile
or dealers to sell them an automobile
Neither bakers to bake them a birthday cake
nor ministers to preside over their wakes...
Forest creatures, left to their own wiles
find organic ways to overcome life’s trials
A phenomenon known lone
To the great one
For in accord they both are
Otherwise called a failure
When I came, the roof trickles
The wall disintegrates
The barn full less
Our good for carts
I left the roof without leakage
The wall integrated
Our harvests unmarketable
And our roads for automobile
I am because I make marks
And not as I detach made marks
The Edsel automobile was thought to be the latest and greatest by Edsel Ford
Henry, had he been among the quick, would've thought him outta his gourd
Alas, only a few of them were sold and it turned out to be a monumental turkey
Since it guzzled gas, was deemed a lemon and its design was rather quirky

My brand new sleek automobile,
My dewy rose with scent appeal,
Sparkling rubies, beauty's ideal,
Cherries and cream after a meal.
Sunset skies of the lazy days,
Valentine heart, during love craze,
Wafting fall leaf, in sunny blaze,
A sequined gown sure to amaze!
Large dahlias, welcome delight,
Gorgeous nebulae, stars of night,
A color of some birds in flight,
And also the wine, rich and light.
A touchy subject among many
In 2022 18,221 died by homicides
with guns
In the USA
Automobile Deaths
25,841 male drivers and 10,676 female drivers
Totaling: 36,517 deaths
In the USA
12,000 people died falling downstairs
In the USA
No one has ever died writing poetry
Needless to say:
Don't get shot or ride in a car and never buy a two-story house
the only safe thing left to do is:
Write Poetry
Driving along in my new automobile
Eyes on the road, hands on the wheel
Ninety miles an hour, smile on my face
Today I'm in love with the whole human race

The cop who wrote me the speeding ticket!!!
tons of force
warning attention
please take to heart and mind
in a split second
an automobile becomes
a double barrel shotgun
with hair triggers
distort distract or stray
your attention from the duty
of a diligent safe driver
and you may cause
DEATH
of a horrible and tragic kind

for my dear friend jeff whom passed on
because someone did not heed this advice
They must be rich and exotic, we neighbors surmised.
They had gorgeous raccoon coats, a huge surprise.
Drove automobile that cost more than my house.
I see flash of a luxurious expensive silk blouse.
When they moved in, they elevated the rest of us.
We tried to act normal, without much of a fuss.
But they were ritzy, and we were dreary and plain.
We never got invited to their parties, don’t remember their name.
Racing your automobile in the rain.
Clouds overhead and the streets are all slick.
Spacing yourself, staying right in your lane.
Crowds all around wond’ring what makes you tick.
Pacing’s important but drives you insane.
How do you think you’ll accomplish this trick?
First place would mean more than you comprehend.
Worst case scenario: a fiery end.
