car shed
weathered and worn
thinks while empty
vulnerable, anxious awaits news
new truck?
boy nervous first date
what if she wants to kiss me
I never learn how
anxious checking the mirror
hoping girl won’t show
Red eyes
Anxious cries
Indigo tears
Neon fears
Dead dreams
Rippled streams
Onyx heart
Poisonous thoughts
Shadows dark
Woke up this morning and saw my day's anxious dreams waiting to be realized!

In my chemically imbalanced mind,
All I can do is detest.
Wandering my dismal world of the blind,
Anxious of what’ll transpire next.
Anxiety
Run on thin wire
Dizzy attacks
Fall?
Senseless
Pain
Calm
Light within
Connected
Horror fades
God's power
True self

makes me create
utopian thoughts
anxious actions
good relationship
all lies
if only I really want it
allies
no where I can find
Soul is weary
Heavy heart's dreary
Breastbone crushing resuscitation
Pressing rhythms flatline
A moldering past
Alas—a day to die for
anxious moments...
a silent phone
beside ticking clock
smiling face
with quick response...
a known ringtone
==================
The world around us is cracking.
I hear the bones of men clacking,
Anxious to start the march onward.
There'll be no olive branch nor word.
She (a poor virgin) anxious
dreams... that
love (a prince) knocks
at her door... or
Enters through the window...!
patience is
waiting your turn
not interrupting
listening tp others
not getting anxious
remaining calm
giving your time gladly
being a mother
It is time.
I’ve had enough.
I see it, I feel it,
I recognize.
Risk versus benefit —
and I know the answer.
I have plenty of work to do here
Present: the razor-thin instance at which the anxious future changes into reluctant past!

I tried to sleep,
I tried to rest.
I closed my eyes,
And tried my best.
They were there,
Behind the light.
I closed my eyes,
All last night.
I've ran, chased; streets of joy known.
Then locked, anxious, a gate.
Nights sang, searched; love's song, for love.
What's left? "To contemplate".
The carefree invitation
belied the anxious creases
in her gestures
Tense hors d'oeuvres
paraded past frozen smiles
invisible the pale moon

You worry.
Your fret.
You get anxious.
You get stressed and depressed.
You think about the worst scenarios.
Yet nothing bad happens.
Life continues on.
Timorously I move alongside
Rendering me anxious and edgy
At Last I have found her
Casually I hugged the body I loved most
Ending weeks of intense tracking.
Ev'ry day wasted,
Sleep all day long,
Overwhelmed, anxious,
Slothful--it's wrong.
Father, forgive me;
Help me, I pray.
Calm me, and make me
Useful today.

Written words by James Edward Lee Sr 2020
When you tell your truth.
You have nothing to be anxious about.
There is peace in telling the truth, even if others don't accept it & completely shun you out.
