waiting.....and waiting....and waiting...oh,...it's ringing....(heart racing)....oh darn, it's just the door bell!! I got the waiting on a phone call thing down to a science when I used to be single....glad those days are over....and what ringtone would u be describing?....lol. Are the metaphors a bad thing in my poem or a good thing? I love the snow soooo much and couldn't think of a better way to convey the feeling...excellent notion that u brought up...expand on this 4 me... :) Gwendolen

Ah, waiting for the phone to ring can create a lot of anxiety, Kash. So glad the "known ringtone" came to brighten the day. Very nice set of haiku, my friend.
