Good As Undone
Eyes lock
with stealth
both move
faced they stand
hands raise
tension builds
forward then lunge
stomp yawp Bash...
high missed five...

Brief: Amaranth View
An Amaranth view
Reaching past the horizon
Radiant rose-red
Mind body and soul align
Lucidly I look ahead

Philly In Pink Haze
Philly in pink haze
Skyscrapers tucked deftly
behind a string of trees
car trucking along Girard
unaware of amaranth mist
slowly adjourning into dark...

I do not know?
Iips
On your lips i groped tonight
I wanderer i became in your shadows
At the echoes of shadows
I see our branches
Beyond the mortals beauty
Are these branches
Beyond amaranth
Is our love
I left a part of myself
in your lips....

Nuances of Pink
Water lily lake
in hot pink epoch of sun
Coral lilies bob
Fuchsia flight, dusk melodies
Salmon rose sends scents
Moonlight lake gleams, as
skies darken to amaranth
Pink daisy twilight
Gathering sweet raspberries
at red-violet day's end...

Minimalist--Closed Path
Labyrinthine mind jams along mazes
Searching restlessly for inner fortitude;
Till amaranth weeds point eastward--
Reams clearing passage through sunrise
To unveil enlightenment—an epiphany!

Diamond Dreams
Tulips of morning
just waked from amaranth dreams,
meet glittering sun.
Dogwood rose opens redly
Pink dawn's jewel shines steady.
Beautiful flowers
respond to warmth's mute caress!
They're a dream come true
in varicolored versions
'ere dusk dreams, in beds again!

Eternal Love
I've tasted eternity
by your lips,
and heaven within your two arms grip.
I've smelt the scent of Amaranth
on your bare body,
and have felt God within your soul.
You are still a mystery to me,
and like a story which is never completely read, never completely told.
Even if a new chapter begins,
or the old one continues to grow,
you will always be my base story.
My love for you will keep its flow....

Trail of a Touching Dream
Trail of a Touching Dream
Under a star painted mosaic sky,
Sat you and I, in ancient Greek dress.
On a gilt-edged,alabaster,sculptured
marble bench.
Your eternal love for me ever beaming!
Then, upon your knees you went,
Kissing my seductive hands.
I kissed your curly, lustrous hair...
Smelling fresh of Amaranth, oh!
Lovers ever so greatly blessed
Eternally~on God's divine firmament.

A Photograph of Us
A photograph of us: we are blushing
in your bathroom mirror, your body wrapped
around mine. A blanket. A tattoo
needled in. Your beaming chin in my hair.
You, promising marital bliss.
How could you be so lovely?
A photograph of us: 106 miles apart.
Me, wrapped in fading amaranth sheets that now
call to mind evisceration.
You, ripping up wilting notes I wrote to you
til their worthlessness disgusts you.
How could you?...

ECHOES OF THE LAKE
Trumpet-like lilies by the lake
preen for the flamboyant flamingo,
sifting through the murky waters,
searching for algae and shrimp
where crawdads click and clatter.
While silvery fish glide stealthily
leaving barely a ripple behind,
a chorus of frogs’ croaks
echo like the whining twang
of a plucked banjo string.
Dragonflies skim the water’s surface
as their translucent wings shimmer
like gems in the sunlight,
dart about the amaranth lilies
waltzing in the summertime breeze.
