Nuances of Pink

Water lily lake
in hot pink epoch of sun
Coral lilies bob
Fuchsia flight, dusk melodies
Salmon rose sends scents

Moonlight lake gleams, as
skies darken to amaranth
Pink daisy twilight
Gathering sweet raspberries
at red-violet day's end

wow the imagery in this is amazing... you have really created beautiful imagery here.. love the word usage of fuchsia flight, dusk memories and salmon rose sends scents.... coral lilies bob... love it.

What a beautiful tanka this is! I love the way you’ve splashed colors in such sheer eloquence, and ur choice of colors too fits the theme of ur poem. I especially loved “ salmon rose sends scents” ah the alliterations there! “ pink daisy twilight” how pretty! “‘And that ending too! Artistic poem this is well delivered and articulated in the form of a double tanka. Love it
