Premium Member Super Bowl of ages

Life challenges once I got old
Such balances as do as you’re told
Really ironic to me
How much I pee
A goal not to miss toilet bowl
Form: Limerick

Pig Eon Aka Rock of Ages

A bird like a pigeon or dove
will always choose food over love
They poop from their perches
On people in churches
Excluding Nun of the Above
Form: Limerick

Three Ages of Man

I’m older than you
The children cry,
Ignore their age as
Middle years roll by,
Proclaim it with
A certain pride
As they near the end
Of life’s long ride

Premium Member EMBRACE ALL OUR AGES

May we be blessed as each day we grow a little older
to not only embrace the age we’re in…
but to never lose the feeling
of all the other ages we have been.

Love At All Ages

LOVE AT ALL AGES

At sixteen
Send me the pillow that you dream on
So I can dream on it too

At sixty
Send me the pillow that you drool on
So I can drool on it too

Premium Member DAILY GRATITUDE WISDOM OF THE AGES

Today I’m grateful for the wisdom that comes with age…
with understanding each day as I grow a little older…
perfection…
like love…
like beauty…
is in the eye of the beholder.

Dark Ages

When I am asleep
I go to the cold dark ages
I wonder how I will escape
And how scary life can be

Until I awaken
I just sit and wonder
How I will get out of
The cold dark ages

Premium Member Poem For the Ages

Will any of my poems outlive me?
If so will it be one that I liked?
Sad to think the one that survives is a bad one
I stare at my poems wondering
Which one will survive me?
If any?

Ages Ago - Dedicated To My Husband

Many moons ago we danced
And danced on the many stars that shone that night
In the enchanted wonderland we created
Whimsical fantasies carry us away
Onto a magic carpet built for two

Makita Iv: Ages and Quakes

Voodoo cryptograms
were the mirrors
alleviating all that is
bred of elementary nature
having spaked in tones
that could quake the bones
fashioning humanity’s frame
furnished by deathly tales

Premium Member our hair ages too

Hair of my youth was pretty auburn fine.
with glimpses and dashes of red said Valentine.
Oodles of melatonin to keep it a glitzy glowing red
whitened up when I got a bit older, said Cousin Fred.

Dark Ages

If in one thousand years they'll ask me
What made this one so different
I'll say lust for purity
And control lingered on
Only this time God
Was shaped like an
'S' with two
Lines through
It

Ages

Planted deep within the soil
Nourished by time
Rooted by promises made
I begin to grow
I have became what you made me to be
Thy words and deeds are not forgotten
I have become a mirror of thy own past

The Three Ages of Man

THE THREE AGES OF MAN

At 14 he had to have a Toyota:
Cos every boy oughta.

At 34 he wanted a Volkswagen:
Really set his tail waggin’.

At 54 now his car of choice:
Is of course Rolls Royce.

Premium Member Why the noble lady was so pissed

The noble lady was full of ire.
Her drunken knight had pissed out her evening fire.
So now she sought warmth by his sleeping horse,
and indulged in some heated intercourse
with the knight's drop-dead handsome squire.

AGES

AGES

Three wise men
Were not kings
But Herod-sent

Three musketeers
Were four, not three
But one for all
And all for one

Blyton’s famous five
Including the dog
Had kids’ adventures
That were popular
All good in the end

Down Through the Ages

There’s safety in rhythm
  salvation in rhyme

Truth in the format
  a structure sublime

To children and sages
  their message rings true

And down through the ages
 —speaks loudest to you

Climbing the Rock of Ages

Everlasting journey, climbing up and slipping back.
Solid footholds shifting, never the same path.
Raising eyes to the sky, seeking the Heavens above.
Chapped skin and sweaty palms, now falling down.
Only to begin again, on life's Eternal trial.

Love the Renewing

What words create the environment
For togetherness
That trusted expression of love
We together
Us forever
In such a complicated trust
We as one
We've just begun
And love is the
Keepsake
In God we trust
And it's all about us
In love
For our ownsake
Form: Ballad

Ages Past

You were my friend way back when
But now I don't know you
We used to sing songs and play games together
But you don't know me, too

Now we don't recognize each other
Time had brought that to an end
It seems to have slipped my mind
What was your name again?

I plan to discover more works of the great masters,
Like the rich green meadow find of bright red asters!
That is my New Year's resolution, a pledge to myself-
To enjoy and benefit from history's vast store of wealth;
And the glories of yesteryear lie waiting upon the shelf.
