Three Ages of Man

I’m older than you
The children cry,
Ignore their age as
Middle years roll by,
Proclaim it with
A certain pride
As they near the end
Of life’s long ride

Well thought out Terry. Simple uncomplicated thoughts often best. Work of a seasoned poet. Regards David in NZ

You wouldn't believe the smile on my face ! You succumbed ! That cat will be in your utility room before you know it !!!! Terrific poem .. its so true, we don't mention it for years and then suddenly it becomes a badge of honor.

There is a state of truce between me and the cat - it stays outside and i feed it.
