I sit by myself at my desk. You come 
In with you fast long strides.
You make your way and sit next to me. 
You don't look at me my heart cracks a tinie bit the others 
Come in and take their seats. The bell 
has rung and you leave never turning
back. The sun goes up and

We got a frost advisory
it was for last night,
down to plus two it went
my seedlings are filled with fright.

I went out around eight-thirty
a watering they did get,
to keep them all from freezing
they'll win against the cold yet.

After all the rain we had received
I didn't trust the frost,
I'll do my best to keep them warm
no matter what the cost.

Spotted frog knew there was a winter advisory today
But she thought she heard the mail and could not stay away.
Her neighbors were not out, so she went out in her P.J.
Wished now that she had stopped for slippers along the way.

Her feet were getting frozen in the freezing January snow.
Although the mailbox was near and she did not have far to go,
She felt the wind chill and the solid ice against every single toe.
She could not wait to get back inside and sit at fire with a glow....
