They are, at most, held
back from their advanced classmates,
later, they advance.

Macbethian witches, their curses, their physicks
bubble, bubble
whatever they are they're a great deal of trouble.
Monkeys came
under
Men’s command
though
Men came
from
Monkeys told
Men or Monkeys
this advanced?
to change Monkeys
chained to dance
cookies, snacks,
drinking causes cancer ...
air pollution causes disease,
living causes advanced age,
dying saves us ...
Sometimes we have to advance well in years for to realize how many more things are to love!

An eighteen-inch trilobite, which is me.
Related to spiders and crabs….tee hee.
Advanced life form.
Will not conform.
If you want me, I’ll be in the sea.
Bandit of Youth
Stolen from an
unknowing crusade
to enlightenment,
turned to a wheel of
carefully cured cheddar
advanced age seems sudden.

My mature face speaks
Eyes daring you to debate
Such intelligence
You may be advanced in years
Yet today I am more shrewd.
Kristen Bruni's Tanka entry for "Baby Babbles"
The cavalry charged, leading the way
The infantry advanced, joining the fray
As for me, I was up to a little deviltry
Donned my goggles ~ battled virtual reality
At my advanced age I've started to drool
Even drooling so much, it could fill a pool
Drooling down my chin
Wasting good gin
So I now resort to sipping it in the vestibule
Alexas my love, how much do you charge
For taking away our freedom, becoming enlarged
Becoming a force
Not to be ignored
We have no choice, the world has advanced full force
Consider myself one of the fortunate ones
At my advanced age, never been under the gun
Healthy as all get out
Yee haw wanna shout
If I knew the secret, I'd tell all you bums
It can't be fooled, your old nose knows
If it smells like a rat it sure ain't no crow
So trust your snout
As an advanced scout
If it's in error, it's one you'll never outgrow

Even at my advanced age things still excite
Some are a drag but there's some I still like
Like when pretty girls
Walk by in shorts and pearls
Then my libido take off like a meteorite
Discombobulated today, accept my apology
Travel's a big factor causing these abnormalities
At my advanced age
Routine is the rage
Can't easily handle change, it's a matter of zoology
Those guys that lived centuries ago
More advanced than we thought, building chateaux
It has baffled our minds
Those were different times
Can't conceive of the feats in their portfolio
Discombobulated today, please accept my apology
Travel's a big factor causing these abnormalities
At my advanced age
Routine is the rage
Can't easily handle change, it's based on zoology
Scanning the sky, searching for intelligent life
seeking creatures who wish to live, not die
Finding earth, advanced civilizations gape in disbelief
~ avert their eyes, stricken with grief
plopping down ‘midst marshmallow grounds
the bunnies advanced by leaps and bounds
ahead of the hounds who the marshmallows found
~ tastier than bunnies pound-for-pound
Primitive and Dimunitive
When things started out they were primitive;
Person's existence was small and diminutive;
Came long way,
Night and day;
Are advanced we must always be inquisitive.

Renewing my driver's license, got by again
At my advanced years, haven'd killed or maimed
Cept for old ladies and cats
But aside from that fact
Obey most rules and at times stay in my lane
My greatest thrill at this very advanced age
Is watching the Raptors and the battles they wage
If they make it through
To the finals woohoo
Excitement reigns, they got it made in the shade
Scientists may have found the missing evidence
That explains the origins of life, that's kinda arrogant
Until we've advanced
And don't pee our pants
We won't have a clue and still need a therapist
I am the 'Age of Information'
multiple degrees, advanced education
5G Era, AI computing
Yet as in tech I advance and progress ~
in understanding myself
and relating to others
I confess I regress
