Crabby
When wrinkles start appearing
Getting deeper by the day
With liver spots accruing
And the hair is going grey
The early morning aches and pains
A stomach growing flabby
The crows feet and the flatulence
No wonder you feel crabby...

Here They Come
here they come
visionaries of our time
friends from the old
yet feeding on our ignorance
subtle as they are
they lurk privily for their own lives
their net spread in the sight of any bird
taking away life of owners thereof
for the haste to shed blood

The sun came up today,
as usual,

                winking in the sun.

A priceless gift,
from the Diamond Maker....

Study Poem: Unseen Immortality
I’ll stay in the shadows
accruing interest on accolades due

which combat worldly ails.

Those who seek praise may stumble upon
beneficial consequences of their actions,
but more often they aggravate sores,
hidden by their alacrity.

So it will continue into eternity;
my admonitory words will be forgotten
until the ages of dust which adorn them

Canada At 150
Oh! Canada, you have traversed,
A hundred and fifty years!!,
Giving life and hope,
To a land that was once,
Left out as an ice desert,
You brought the whole world together,
To enjoy the benefits of democratic living,
Away from cultural conflicts,
And political turmoils,
Accruing the skills of,
All lands and people,
With mutual love and understanding,
Finding the joy of peaceful co-existence,
A veritable heaven on earth!!!....

Ability And Desire Miracle Man 3/15/2024 When in his youth he was filled with desires, now sometimes his age causes him to digress. To do youthful things he no longer aspires, but today his thoughts are difficult to express. He was big in sports, and liked to hunt and fish, a military career he should have been eschewing. Now he visits his past able only to wish, while he was away missing years were accruing. For a friend
