Key Verse – Acts 9:6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

It's in my heart and always on my mind.
I can't lie; I think of it all the time.
At early dawn and late in the midnight hour.
I can see it, I can feel it, and I often dream about its beautiful power.
Some say I'm crazy...
Hmmm? Maybe they're just lazy.
Others ask, "Is it worth it?"
Well, naysayers are going to 'nay,' so
I'll keep pushing and pulling it.
I'm tending the bars; that's right, I'm bartending.
I'm pushing and pulling, and I'm not pretending.
Yes!
Pushing and pulling for my health,
Fighting and grinding for invaluable wealth.
Living sprightly on the bars, pushing up off Mother Earth,
The pump in my chest, the shakiness in my legs, and the sweat on my brow show their worth.
Getting over the rope and making quick bursts across the land,
This beautiful obsession just continues to grow, and most will never understand.
It doesn't feel good, sound good, or look good when I'm going through it.
But there is a beautiful pain that hurts so good, just knowing I'm staying fit.
With each rising sun and every shining moon,
My obsession remains, and it's going nowhere soon.

Comfort rise
No enemies
For centuries
God reward
To help us push forward
Keying with heart
Is a worthy art
Second chance at life
Never chose to think twice
Through courage you have witnessed
True forgiveness
My beautiful destroyer of sin
Travel the world to see what should have been
Shine for your Savior
Welcome your adventure
Heal the broken hearts
Who bared the marks
Through imbalance
Find balance
Ease the shakiness
Enjoy your happiness
Self discipline
No more sins
Prayers referred
Through love you were heard
Feeling complete
You are now firm on your feet
No worries to your future
We pardon the sutures
Hard at work
Equal perks
Perfection through song
When notes belong
God wins
It begins

Read beauty in his words
They longed with a desire
For beauty a portrait held
Inspiration being hot as fire
Falling into his every word
Swallowed into each verse
Longing to be that portrait
Releasing him from a curse
To feel his lips soft shakiness
Turning into a confident kiss
I melt in his warm embrace
Breathing in me such a bliss
Sighs escape t'ween parted lips
My curves his hands do caress
Lips that kiss my naked flesh
T'would be heaven I confess
I wish i could be that portrait
That sparked inspirations fire
To be able to live in his words
Inside such a beautiful desire

Subtle Changes
Ever notice the subtle changes,
A liver spot, a dry patch,
A sneeze with a new resonance;
A sentence with a throat catch.
I think it began at fifty two,
When a foot gave out to pain,
The doctor said “arthritis,” dear,
And bone thinning began to gain;
Then the chestnut hair waxed dull,
A year or two after that;
And glasses weren’t worn for style,
But to counteract “what’s that?”
Little things, always the little things,
Creepy crawly subtle things,
‘Til years pile up with shakiness,
And our worlds are one of quakiness.
Then for once, for once, you understand,
The peace of resting, being still,
And that’s when He speaks His loudest;
“I am here, not subtle, but real.

Holding Me in Hug
Afraid - I wrap my arms ‘round my legs - holding me in hug.
Struggling for your voice alone.
You are gentle with my tremblings.
And yet I shake. You lay your hand softly on my knee. I feel the start within.
But there’s no slap with you.
And as I breathe deeply to settle shakiness, I feel the rock.
I rock - back and forth - back and forth. Wrapped - the embryo in womb.
How pathetically sad – how touchingly sweet
I breathe
waiting to be born.
