Disciples Set Out

Friends follow the fraternal advice of a bosom friend.
The disciples followed each word of Jesus till the end.
As birds and beasts, on divine providence, they did depend
Kingdom's sake, like adventurers, all pains they did transcend

Clasping to their bosoms, with divine love, they healed the sick.
Raising the dead, as though waking the sleeping, was no trick.

I Set Out Lookin' Fer Some Way To Scribe Two

I set out lookin' fer some way to scribe,
that wer' a different, en catch yarn ear
Well first I'd try, 'ee hollerin' a rhyme,
with all CAPS, this only brought er tear,

This started me a thinkin' too look
elce-where, excep', per'aps this prose
isn't fer me, many have written 'ay book'
I'll need my style, somethin' too share

I Set Out Mousetraps

I set out mousetraps
Not expecting to catch a robber
But I did.

He was a big fellow, full grown
Nigh onto fifty probably.
Wore a mask.

Before I released him I asked him to take it off.
He refused,
And he was rude.

So I made him stay in the kitchen.
And I went back to bed.
Hoping he would change his mind.

The poison stained my veins

The poison whispered lies
The folly was in believing them

Let's set out to sea
     leaving the harbor with reluctance
     but searching for the freedom in the wind.
Set the sails just so
     we are drawn in the directed tidal flow

Wondering what should be done after that

Battle was brewing as had been before
