Premium MemberThe Reason

Seeing more goodwill to every child, woman and man. Finding kindness and generosity wherever eyes span. Hearts warm, greetings hearty, happiness this season. It gladdens us to know that Jesus is the reason.

Premium MemberSeasons' Greetings

BRUTAL COLD DAY EARLY FEBUARY
Almost as cold as the week before
Six feet of snow fell late in January
Please Mr. Winter, let it snow- No more

BEAUTIFUL COLORED DAISYS EMERGE FREQUENTLY
Mostly throughout the season of spring
When most everything is green- completely
When eggshells break and birdies sing

BEACH CARNIVALS DELIGHTFUL ENJOYABLE FUN
Young ones playing games outside
Sunbathers tanning 'neath the sun
A nice time for a summertime ride

BEAR CUBS DIE EVERY FALL
I found one dead out on my range
One died last year too, if I do recall
Must be something to do with climate change

Premium MemberJOY, JOY, JOY

JOY, JOY, JOY Joy to the world! It is the joyous time of the year. Fretting, dragging are not allowed. Smile, jump, shake, shake, shake. Shake the weight off your shoulder, stop carrying it. Open your heart to faith, open your mind to hope, welcome joy with spring in your steps, enthusiasm, start acts of greetings, a wave, a nod. Be kind and thankful to lift your soul. Now, time for joy. JOY JOY J O Y J O Y J O Y J O Y HAPPY HOLIDAYS! 12/3/23 Sweet Lady Jane (Marilene Evans)

Premium MemberSeason's Greetings

Like the scent of springtime lilacs
You're sweet perfumery
Like an ocean mist in summer
You wash right over me
Like a sudden rain in autumn
You cool my passion's flame
Like a soughing wind in winter
You gust your lovely name

Basil said "a hearty, jolly morning" to Ginger and to Bay,
"Nice to see you, Rosemary, on this fine Christmas Day."
"It's great to see you too, Paprika." "Oh, Lavender, how do you do?"
"How have you been, Cicely?" "You look divine, so Cordon Bleu!"

Premium MemberThe Chilly Month of December

The Chilly Month of December

And so comes winter, after late fall,
When from ashen skies of low-lying clouds,
Snowflakes fall, enshrouding the town
And piling on people tramping around.

Snow fills footprints, extinguishing traces
Of icy stares glinting on smiling faces
From people uttering steamy greetings
Who are out and about in the wintry season.

And this I say to these venturous kind
Who are enjoying the snowy weather:
“Beautiful is the sight that enthralls my eye”
In the chilly month of December.

Days dwindle down to a new year
Expectations sing into all ears
Can you believe how fast time drifted away?
End of the year, ever so nigh!
Months flew away with the swallows
By the fireside, I sit, sipping hot cocoa
Echoes of holiday greetings...loud!
Rage of winter starts to simmer

Fall!
It's almost here y'all!
You can't tell it?
Well,
I can smell it!
It smells like promise
of finishing well
of Season's Greetings
round the corner
of cozy warm cups
blankets and such--
seems far away...
but believe it!

Premium MemberSeasons Greetings From the Discovery

More than two hundred million miles from home, the Discovery mission continues to roam. Dr. Frank Poole and I are as well as can be. Our computer friend named “Hal” provides security. The remaining three are still in suspended animation. We’re on a steady course to Jupiter, our destination. Here is a holiday greeting to our earth-based station: Share in joy and love, all the nations of the earth. This season, may you be filled with merriment and mirth. Based on the novel “2001, A Space Odyssey” by the late Arthur C. Clarke

The're out
      the're out
Spring
announces with
         a shout-
Yellow
          yellow
     everywhere
look
         look
left or right
here,there
           anywhere-
under trees
            nodding
         in the breeze
braving
      March wind chill
narcissus
             amaryllis
       or
        if you
                 will
daffodil
