Courage is Custard

Wit sharp as a sword,
nerves soft as pudding.
I slice with charm,
but melt at the sound of risk.
Courage is custard
Topped with bravado sprinkles
Served boiling hot
I just take a teaspoon
and let it scald.

Supernatural FIRE poetrix

        when i'm penetrated randomly
             by magic fire of creation
             I neither burn nor scald

Premium MemberA Spectacular Flow

Jalapeños popped
with that french kiss;
You may just have the heat
to handle me;
Careful, dynamite explodes with a
single spark.
Savor spicy slowly…

Blood and lust;

Your villainous eyes so vermilion,
possessing the vile light of the macabre.
Ignite me leave your mark,
devour my divergence;
Together we’re fireworks..
Viral infection,
swallow spectacular slowly…

Blood and lust;

So succulent the film of me
erupting all over your taste buds;
estrogen and endorphins,
testosterone and dopamine;
Carolina reaper’s bass line,
we just raised the bar;
set to scald each others mouth..

A spectacular flow,
blood and lust.

Archibald the Maverick Pastor

Fifty-year old pastor Archibald
And already the vessel is bald
Now cold not red heat would the priest scald;
Now 'irritable'when he is called...

For twenty years now A Pastor:
Would not sit on chairs denied castor;
Claims a pastor:Better Doctor,
Against every demon: Victor
Before ordination shooting star,
No speeding sprinter was faster,
His knowledge of the game vaster;
So much the case that he was master
But right now caged up by Arthritis,
Real blows exchanging with Mastitis
A time-and- again Hepatitis...

It has been growing anxieties.

Premium MemberRaver

he’s a raver, deep from marrow, born
who screams at moons to curse the morn
and though his flesh is bloodless, torn
he woos the beast inside him
for night alone won’t hide him

he creeps the nettles, scratched and red
to find the temptress for his bed
but with the madness in his head
those angels - dark and ruddy
find all their wings, now bloody

oh, once this manic’s dreams were pure
of maidens, graced with grace, demure
their loins, quite worth a birthing’s cure
but he drowned all such humors
his passions, turned to tumors

those virtues, pure, were sacrificed
for panicked potions - poisoned, iced
no hellion’s draught had e’er sufficed
to scald his veins through rapture
death’s tonic, claimed for capture

but there beneath a gold doubloon
the grip of dripping deviled moon
that man left all his senses strewn -
hopes hanging on a door-hinge
with high-priced bitter orange

there are no versions of the truth
no happy end, this saddened sleuth
what waste, the years of wondrous youth
those scores of bugles, blaring
changed to a dirge, despairing
bright eyes, a-dead and staring …

bright eyes … now dead.

Premium MemberLove In the Spirit Realm

I revere you here, in the midst of the flames
Which scald incinerates and purifies the faith,
And hurled ash and smoke into the frames
Where flowers blossomed before our birth.

Which scald incinerates and purifies the faith
Where you swear me words as we escape,
Where flowers blossomed before our birth
Sorrow lurks in oak limbs, safe from gape.

Where you swear me words as we escape
Where the wind twirls ice veils across hills,
Sorrow lurks in oak limbs, safe from gape
On flows set in motion at creation's chills.

Where the wind twirls ice veils across hills
Where somber seas race moon-mad tide,
On flows set in motion at creation's chills
Ancient sea-tossed stones once men reside.

I revere you here, away from fire and grime
And hurled ash and smoke into the frames,
You and I are linked in a spiritual sublime
I revere you here, in the midst of the flames.

Stigma;
Kisses from Hell,
slurring devoted fiend;
Your demons linger on my lips,
scald me.

Premium MemberBoth Ways

I can feel your flames
feasting on me in the dark;
Your kisses they scald my neck
your name alone winds me up;
Take me and do what you like,
I have lost my voice;
Just remember, that goes both ways.

Premium MemberNowhere In Sight

On a grassy verge above the surging rill
she stood fair haired and proud,
three leaf clover substrate at her toes.
Clutching saline bouquets I had plucked
from my neighbours walk-in green house.
Woman of resplendent peerage cast a
pearlescent glance among the swirl-frond
waves that prey on fractured fjords.
At a distance, in her mind.
But not for long before we fled like butterfly
 escapees over marshes, mounds and meads.
Shriek from sun-dried swallow as we stumble
 awkwardly upon their woodbine nest.
Noonday train fire iron to the fossil
 fuel bled caterpillar plain,
rural muzak for a pinpoint tip toe dash
 through barren fodder,
spiny thistle scald on insect bitten arch,
splashes are a symbol on our craft
 stitch needle knitwear.
Yet I struggled to keep pace on
raw earth sand stone,
crab apple briar tangles by the dozen
hung like plastic refuse obstacle,
but nothing now could halt this headlong
sprint to who knows where.

Love In Ashes

A distant scream,
the future cries,
our past to burn
unclaimed

Predictions simmer,
forecasts stir,
denials rage
enflamed

All promise broken,
hearts on fire,
reasons singed with
pain

With love in ashes,
hope to scald,
and freedom left
—in shame

Premium MemberAn English Man of Arabia

An English man proved salvation's worth,
even in desert's unforgiving scald.
In life 'nothing is written' in the Earth,
Lawrence of Arabia he was called.

He rode alone to rescue a stranger,
from scorching devil's anvil sun-scoured sand.
Judged and shot the same man plucked from danger,
now killed to stave off tribal blood feud band.

Do not wish to walk in another's shoes,
for you never know just where they have been.
Content with what you have, yet still could lose,
and glad unwanted fates remain unseen.

An English man proved salvation's worth,
even in desert's unforgiving scald.

blackened sun, miniaturized pencil-point, glued
to an expanse where pillow-clouds once lay in repose
  caftaned, toothless droids on broomsticks whiz by, cackling

anvil-hot, clay-red rains scald cracked turf, vapor rising up
  where phantasmagoric ice-pellet fireworks burst in the night

Premium MemberSilence Speaks

Dark grey are the skies,
Hot tears scald my eyes,

Emotions simmer underneath,
I stand gritting my angered teeth,

Grief hid in those unshed tears,
A bit more than unsaid fears,

Layer by layer fury is unsheathed,
Little by little my restlessness breathed,

Spoken words reveal their violent sharpness,
Unspoken words pierce through the silent darkness,

Silence has a language of its own,
It stifles me and chills every bone.
