Sabbatical Poems - Poems about Sabbatical

Tactical and Radical Sabbatical

One picture appears to be ovaries.

said our rosaries
please protect our ovaries
here and overseas

on sabbatical
that had become tactical
being  radical

investigated
then we had contemplated
interrogated

seemed stimulated
proving prevaricated
so poorly stated

had tolerated
was never educated
eradicated

while an allusion
would have caused much confusion
disturbed by delusion

1 Final Thing Before I Take a Sabbatical

1 final last thing

Before i go

On self-imposed sabbatical

I wish in word's to impart
to all of you

Is this

Love and hope is no longer
dead

As today i discovered and
seen before my very own eyes

2 childhood sweethearts
soulmate 1 true ex-loves

Grind the long hard pathway
back into each other affection
and trust once again

And it restored my fractured
faith in love i

Sabbath Sabbatical

Allah, Jehovah, and Jesus
Reached a decision to leave us
But the one to go first
Would most likely be cursed
What else could they do to please us?

Sabbatical Dreams -It

Twilight waved me sadly sighing, adieu,
Furling her rosy hue; cautioning me.
Earie boardwalk creaks near the white sand beach,
But alone I dream here with piercing pains.

The label I hide on the wine bottle,
A label of a shirt she bought for me,
Which I fondly kept as a souvenir
Of my final visit home...years

The label I hid on the wine bottle
said cheap, boozy, available, needy
it was easily seen in reddened eyes

They told me of the psycho cats demise
eerie boardwalk creaks near the white sand beach
laying flowers on her vintage guitar

Pouring the last of the wine in the sand
had she succumbed to the dark allure of
sabbatical dreams after quarantine

Premium MemberSabbatical Dreams After Quarantine Might Have Covid Or Maybe I'M Just Drunk-It

The labor I hide on the wine bottle;
And yet I waddle and I do not drink;
Mind blended dog got me by the collar;
My novice is stuck in this dark closet;

They told me of the psychic cat's demise;
Why?  Is it raining in my kitchen drain;
I open the cupboard nothing's in;

Juzt had tuna my cat

Trump Should Go On a Sabbatical

Being Tactical With Each Fractal

We were being tried and true tactical,
As well as frugal with our each fractal;
Trump must go,
We all know
And forever should go on a sabbatical.

Premium MemberSabbatical Year

I’ll always remember
the amazing time
when I took a sabbatical year
leaving my job behind
to finish a bachelor degree.

The days of evening classes
would finally be over.
I savoured every single day
of being a full time
student again.

This time I lived on campus
-- the freedom !
I had regained my youth
without losing the little
wisdom I had acquired
and most importantly
I was taking

Sabbatical

taking a one week sabbatical
going to rest my soul and mind
going to put it all behind me
going to get away from the grind

Mexico is waiting
the peace and quite I need
that resurrects my spirit
that reinforces me

no cell phone connection
no landline to be reached
disconnect from everything
while I lay on the beach

I’ll come back reinvented
a soul that’s been

Radical Sabbatical

I was sittin in the crook of a white oak tree
when I saw six monsrers
or maybe three
I got real scared at first you know,
'cause they all had eyes as white as snow
they spread a blanket 'neath my perch
and started in to havin church!
one big furry sort of guy
said a prayer up to the sky
that's when
