I have heard a hurt person say,
if you knew what they did to me you would never forgive them.
Hurt can run very deep with pain,
hurt can cause forgiveness to disappear.
Why do we allow others to hurt us,
why not walk away?
Walking away,
is not always easy to do.
Forgiveness is not for them,
it is for us.
Let them and their pain go,
when we forgive we can heal.
The pain needs to be erased from our life,
not always an easy thing to do.
The power of forgiveness can save our life,
can make us new and happy once again.
The Mother Tree
I am the mother tree that spawned the seeds of you.
My children, you've grown and branched away from me.
You've married, left home to start your life anew.
Where e'er you go remember you're my family.
My roots run very deep into the earthly soil.
My centered rings are many, you may not yet view.
They show the story of my years of work and toil
And of growth and wisdom I've tried to share with you.
As you branch out, your little seedlings too will grow.
You'll try to keep them safe under your canopy.
One day when they grow up and leave, you too will know
The painful pangs of missing branches on your tree.
As they return for advice from their mother tree
Remind them to honor God with humility.

You take such good care of me.
I often wonder
if I’m deserving.
You treasure and behold
my inner beauty—
You love with a generous
selfless heart
that yearns to please,
to be respected and
loved as you are.
How could I not love and
admire a giant of a man
who blesses my life in so many ways?
Our feelings run very deep—
Deeper than either one of
us can comprehend.
Those feelings cross the earthly
barriers of Time.
They vibrate at such
heightened harmony
that your thoughts,
become mine.

Fear and hurt
Make you express your rage
Taking it out on others to release your pain
Making school not just a place to learn
Having others feel the burn
A child now dreads going to school,
All because of you
Leaving them sad
Not knowing what to do
Why cant we all be nice no matter what
When this chaos keeps us in a continuous rut
Leaving hurt and pain when all is said and done
A vicious cycle that helps no one
Don't make fun of the one with the crooked teeth,
for one day they will be the beauty that you meet
Hurting the feelings a boy with a gut,
when one day he'll be the one to protect your butt
Look beyond to the beautY they hold inside
Instead of making them run and hide
Hurt feelings can run very deep
Its the "friendship" of others you want to keep
Her Blossom
~~~~~~~~~~~
This thing of delicate beauty, a touch as silky velvet petals
Milady's scent of gardenia, the balm to soothe my ails
Serenity becomes my state as her still waters run very deep
The waves of her soul bliss of ambrosia and sweet nectar
Hands never noticed to move tick silently as the seconds
That I crave to spend longer in her arms seem as hours
A warming and loving spirit that's a healing touch to my own
Encompasses my very being in a safe and oh so kindly caress
This is my refuge from a lonely world
Her blossom
