Forgiveness

I have heard a hurt person say, if you knew what they did to me you would never forgive them. Hurt can run very deep with pain, hurt can cause forgiveness to disappear. Why do we allow others to hurt us, why not walk away? Walking away, is not always easy to do. Forgiveness is not for them, it is for us. Let them and their pain go, when we forgive we can heal. The pain needs to be erased from our life, not always an easy thing to do. The power of forgiveness can save our life, can make us new and happy once again.

wise words, Paula. I agree with you, forgiveness is for us to keep us from living with irrational toxicity. I say, 'let go and move on. Don't waste time holding a grude...not matter the pain involved. Have a Merry Christmas, Sara

It's always best to try and forgive a wrongdoing by someone. It can fester inside and destroy you. Not always easy though but it is the right way. Tom
