Requites Poems | Examples

Long lost love

It's the middle of the night
and the light of love shines so bright
the one I love in the middle of night
Haunts my heart with her in sight
Try to resist her, somehow I might
But of love and wanting of this I write
Love is not mercy, wrong or right
A hidden emotion I cannot fight
Can she answer desires delight?
For now she answers
what my soul requites
A beautifull sprit a wonderful sight
A body of which I'd hold with might
The forbidden fruit I'm willing to bite
For she is my Eve and she is my light
She's the meaning of the word inspight
My reason for living against Gods advice
On the list of my duties, one of my plights

Rage

Strike like a hammer to the furnaced rod,
emmited sparks of incessant lust

With tempest storm against the rocks
purged deep within the flesh,
for nothing else requites
with such deep pleasure

With focussed beam projected
like a light house seeking souls.
Avoiding all else but that one aim
of gratified, repugnant pleasure

The hawk its quarry,
the bow its arrow.
This guilty sin, its spur
like a rod to lightening

Yet the truth shall find its bubble
and set my building straight.
The heat shall be over, spent at last,
as night falls on another day

Premium MemberAn Honorable Secret

i love you with eye's that you cannot see
with lips that cannot speek it's hearts desire
with a poem that i dare not write
and a song that i cannot sing
i love you with hands that do not touch
a voice that will not tell how much
a presence so unworthy
and yet it seems it is for you i live
day and night i keep you in sight
for you are in my minds eye
and your beauty it requites
all the loyalty of my time
but by your mate is where you belong
you with me is something wrong
an oath to them has been sworn
yet to me , you are my adorn

Oh' Say

Is their such a thing
    As an 3 day blessing
There are so many thing's
      That which I soon
Will be requesting
      ------
First this due in memory'
Fore blessing's can be slow
    If you should be
Receiving it, then
     Should you let any other
     Know,
Or should you be resting
      ------
Oh, just let it be
      ------
Fore your doth have received
A blessing and to get one
Is kind of hard, just make sure
    That it actually came
            from God
      ------
The devises is a devil
     He requites' blessing
As much as He can
     He has so many enemies
His service's are high on demand
      ------
He will give you a blessing
There in nothing else
That he would rather do
But first make sure of your
       Blessing,
Make sure that it is true
And really meant for you
      ------
That it is not over due
             -Fore-
That blessing that you want
    And so many may seek
Just might be an invitation
       To visit him'
In the land of the deep
              And dark
A far cry from where
       Your car is parked

                   GF

Juliet

Juliet

If perchance that thou should dance.
Twould be the light fantastic,
Hath no power in deference,
Might death, if called, be askance,
Thy breath be sweet,
Julia bequeathes, requites,
 Unholy, mist of passion,
perchance to bride claim, yet myself,
olde English takes a lashing
