Relocated Poems

Passing People

In New York City, passing people
Do not say hello,
Unless you see them often -
Then a nod’s the way to go.

If lots of time goes by, this just might
Segue to a smile,
But even that might happen only
Once in a great while.

A newbie or a tourist sometimes
Gives a great big shout -
“Good morning!” - that’s at least until
They’ve figured it all out.

Today I’m in the suburbs, though,
To visit with the grands.
I took an early walk and
Maybe someone understands

Why all the people I passed by
Ignored my smile or nod.
Considering location, well,
I found it kind of odd.

My age might be a factor,
Which would really be a pity,
Or perhaps, they’re brand-new neighbors
Relocated from the city.

Bikini

1946 United States authorities
chose to exercise freedom of choice
and forcibly relocated 167 Marshall islanders
King Juda he agreed as their voice
from Bikini Atoll east to Rongerik
a small island which adequate resources lacked
with the promise they would return
so much for the U.S. Right of Freedom Act
and with little regard to radiation or fallout
the beautiful coral lagoon's sad fate
was a nuclear weapon testing site
twenty-three tests in all 'til 1958
but scientists miscalculated
a dry-fuel thermonuclear bomb they blew

relocated daisy

They say a single white
blossomed.
Petals flung wide
in the east wind’s howl—

                              She must be lonely.

Alone? Yes, but not adrift.

                              Nonsense.
                              No flower thrives without tending.

Perhaps you should look
closer:
her roots drink
from the deep earth—

No use in tending,
when the soil remembers
better than memory.

I have lost myself in someone's eyes

#I_have_lost_myself_in_someone's_eyes
Bring strong ropes, chains rather, some bulldozer perhaps, I have walked this path before, going in with my whole, less I be eliminated from the face of the earth and be relocated here, in this eyes.

Shivers rushes down spine, goosebumps all over my body, I mean these butterflies in my stomach, feel fairies twinkling on my brain, dare anyone, wakes me from this tale

I wanna be absorbed in this magical mystery of exploring the unknown, tickling essence of mesmerizing, blind fold my eyes, in this moment, I wanna let go and let life,

Live in this moment, like is my forever, in this eyes a whispering sweet voice echoes my name, while this heart of mine keeps dragging on an on, if love is a rush, please unstrapp these safety belts, I wanna regret nothing when heaven marks me present to its list, in this moment, allow me to lose myself into this someone's eyes

Premium MemberAfter The Floods

Flash floods came in a sudden
After few hours of torrential rain
Villages in towns submerged
Water rose so high…surged.

People stayed on their roofs
Waited for rescuers holding faith and hope
Teams of rescuers came less than an hour
To save everyone with all their powers.

People evacuated in safer places
Government officials sent foods for days
Relief goods and help came from the cities
A unified effort and cooperation with love and peace.

After few days , water slowly subsided
Some went home, others were relocated
Clean and clear up programs were established
Clogged drainages and canals were all fixed.

Many volunteers, both young and adult
Cleaned and planted more trees for better result
 Proper waste disposal was implemented
Illegal logging and quarrying were strictly prohibited.

Premium MemberMisunderstanding Of Male Hippo In Midlife Crisis

Are my motives questionable
Maybe even disagreeable
Knowing they will be unforgettable
Therefore, under the magnifying glass examine

A male hippopotamus lost so much weight
He felt he was the bull most likely
To stay out late
With flamboyant, embellished cows

He was no longer
A defender of his character
Living in abandon
His life needed to be abolished

His old life he needed to follow
Acknowledge his achievements
His electric reputation
Don't you think it's curious

His now disorganization
Competitive drive

A Landscape of Her Own

After the funeral,
the town changed its street maps,
old houses were relocated. new shops opened
in long emptied malls.

They had never shared their likes or interests,
they had not even shared an equitable life;
now she understood the changing landscape.

Before his death, the town was seen
through his own lens only;
he was ever determined
to shape her view, make her see things his way.

After this post-mortem revelation,
She recalibrated her car’s GPS:
It takes her now
to the as yet
unseen.

Premium MemberThe Most Popular Beverage In Spiceland

Can you name the President of Guatemala
How 'bout the islands off the coast of Sahara
Would you happen to know the currency of Iceland
And what about the most popular beverage in Spiceland

I myself have forgotten last year's Super Bowl Winner
Not to mention what I ate last night for dinner
As for my wife's birthday and our anniversary
I quickly mumble something far too cursory

So now that I've been relocated from the frying pan to the fire
My odds of living 'til sundown ~ two notches below dire

Premium MemberRelocated Tomorrow

In the rhythm of the rolling tide of time I float
in the amorous ambiance of the setting sun.
Before the ebb takes me beyond the horizon,
I search for the anchorage in the fervent shore.

Through the suffusing shower of twilight shimmer,
amply allured, I follow your lengthening shadow,
melting in mystique night in mellow moonshine,
stardust spark lights up my dark alley of dream.

The new sun returns with color-burst fresco,
sprinkles spectral hue on dainty drops of dew.
In my malachite meadow no longer morose, I find you,
sparkling like pearl with the patina of pristine fervor.

At the periphery of my lonesome lingering time,
colors spread on blue, my enticed senses don’t belie,
haze lifts from dawning day, I see my relocated tomorrow
in the smile on your face and in the glitter of your eye.

After the Funeral

The town lost its street maps,
new plots of land appeared, houses were built
where just yesterday there had been none.
Her world seemed relocated,
changed, as if it had been redrawn.

They had not shared their likes or interests
they had not even shared an equitable life,
and at times had pawned and reclaimed each other,
negotiations and currency
always a part of an unwritten deal.

Now she understood how landscapes can change
minds see from their own windows
through different lenses.

She recalled with late regret
that each of them had not surrendered,
they coexisted in the same place
but a locality riddled with mirages,
scenes they mind-painted
with unseeing eyes.

A Transfer To a Coast

Never on Face Book post
Your visit to a coast,
Let alone a transfer
By riskier miles far,
Save you are spiritual
And your prayers perpetual.
The relocated-to-a-coast
To not propose any toast
Nor a chef order to chickens roast…

Not for loud – mouthed boast
One’s transfer to a coast,
As waters are met the most
From pillar zigzagging to post;
The craziest obeying some Ghost,
Whose drowning record is its marine boast…
A decidedly contentious host.

The transferred to a coast is not The Lucky
There too wait waters The Murky!

Premium MemberHome Sweet Home

Mice in the wall
  rats in the hall
Our first apartment
  sure had it all

A cockroach or two
  for dinner would do
We'd laugh when they floated
  face up in the stew

Right outside the window
  were the railroad tracks
As the trains would roar by
  my dad's dentures would clack

Our creaky old three-flat
  the city finally tore down
Rats, rice and roaches relocated
  to a more modern playground

Conscience Power

My open mouth breathing, blast you with hot breath,
Hyperventilating while holding my breath, at the same time I barely exhale death
Eyes petechiae blood on all sides, the more I hold this deep lung.
Spewing fire with my words, spitting venom with my forked tongue,
Shooting solar rays from my eye gaze as it rebounds,
Total annihilation in my raze, which levels structures to the ground.
My forces can propel rockets to space by the words I choose,
My vibrations can intercept communication transmitations by thousands of waves that blow the arcing fuse.
My electrical beams are from the original obelisk that are still in their constructed stations,
Not the obelisk that were pirated, stolen and relocated to other nations.
The plasma that shoots from my fingertips destroy all that it comes into contact with,
Magical powers soon to be exercised and not specified by any one particular myth.
This energy of my force is the source of the total demolition of Mars,
It doesn't end there, as I also consume both solar and blue dwarf stars.

Shaken snow globe disarray
Stark format unfamiliar
Relocated mountain ranges
Jacket assets of chameleon

Wobbled flesh given for return
Eyeballers display dollars
Fixated focus planted firm
Subject unacknowledged

Drifting body parts ignite
Lust of lurid possibility
From actuality retired
Maggot eaten depravity

Gyraters' slip into depiction
Resigned, pilot drives auto
Puckered faces maintain rhythm
Minds' contents, peeled potato

Stiletto gripping charicature
Formed from Adam's vital rib
Collared stilled near provocatuer
Audience outcome pathetic

Satirical image conjured as ideal
Patron clean faced gullible
Sensation powders scene unreal
Hand fulls of snowballs - impossible!

Waves of Freedom

Waves of freedom

Please sit quietly with me and watch the rolling waves
Listen how the other end of the earth brings rhythm
Synchronize your body to flow with the tides
Is there a cadence that will resign your level of stress?

Does the sound shave and replace that which lacks flavor in life?
Try to stay in trance with the sounds of the wave crashing
Absorb the pounding tides against the ageless rocks
Imagine yourself being part of the surf which nullifies actuality.

You are now relocated into a realm of living in freedom and admiration
This was true before the world grew dim and congested with static.
When you leave and disengage from this entrancing therapy
perhaps the rewards will entice you to sit again.
