Nocturne shadow, rise with the Flamingo
charmed by the sunrise a morning sky smiles.
hushed morning song whispers at my window.
Prone on the pillow; love the outer isles.

Daydreams wander; my fan begins the day
sands twinkle like brilliant diamonds sparkling
Winds blow the deep blue waters on the bay.
Tea's steeping as the teapot is whistling.

Old cat yawns awake in the morning light.
dandelion seeds float by with the breeze
grass flows serenely terns hover in flight
waves rise higher on Lanai's southern seas.

Kilauea rumbles the Big Islands shore
I see a reddish haze from my back door.

My Blue Cheese Is a Dark, Reddish Brown

Of all the foods in all the lands of culinary charm
There is but one offender my taste buds can’t disarm
While others may enjoy it, perhaps fried or as pate’
I would rather eat a heaping pile of fresh steamed hay

Some may like it on white bread or in a Shepherd’s Pie
I’d prefer a great big slice of pie that’s made of fly
So be it Chicken, Calf or Cod, not to mention Duck
I would favor meatloaf made from ground up hockey puck

To this day, the only food that makes my stomach quiver
Is the gastronomic venom that’s known to the world as “liver”

Reddish Broken Moon

Reddish Broken Moon
Have seen so many green trees, through my open window,
There plenty of trees, how faded i don,t know?
At sunset,i have seen no more cheerful waves on seashore.
Seen at sunny days, works more and more.
All are now dried desert.
i can not guess, what to be last.
At heavy sunlight of desert skin has burnt and my mind hurt ed.
There are no live and love faded.
Seen so many lovers has passed her days on seashore.
On this desert,i am alone and under blue sky there are no more.
Soil becomes hot,water becomes still.
Wait to see deep blue water till.
Many comes and goes in this afternoon.
Seashore looks like desert,i am alone and seen reddish broken moon.

Her Reddish Brown Hair

surrounded by sunlight's softest kiss
in pantomime of surrender she gives up her smile
she gives romance of the eyes to me
and with few words softly spoken
ushers me into her world
perfections kitten she growls then laugh's
as i marvel at her nearness
her eyes have become pools of green warmth
as we sit to talk and talk to sit
she asks why have i come
i illustrate on the breeze with words so profuse
i illuminate the room with light of reason
but fail to sway her
she ponders me and all my attachments
with gentle grace
gives me a door
sunlight plays in her reddish brown hair
plays upon her earring of diamonds
she gives me romance of the heart
as she holds me there by the door
long enough to convince me of her goodness
long enough for me to see her divinity
a spring snow clings to the breeze
on the beach which she walked
forever more young and fierce as a lioness
young and bold

A Few Pounds of Reddish Clay

Straight on the bed
What does that lay?
A mould of flesh
What does it call?
A human being
What does it mean?
Hoards, eats and sleeps
When it gets tired takes rest
Does it all that he possess?
At pleasure it jumps
In pain it coils in
Does it have the power of thinking?
Oh, yes,
 That’s the great
 And only quality
On the basis of which
 A body of meat
  Turns into human
Otherwise it remains
As valueless as
Few pounds of reddish clay.
