Medgar Evers College being alum with their story to tell.
She dances to the rhythmic drumbeats,
She dances despite her aching feet.
She bears the torture;
If only.it would turn to joy.
She watches the priest as he calls upon the benevolent spirits,
As he invokes the Divine.
Will he be able to realign the pieces that would guide her away from the gloomy shoreline?
Will he be able to summon back the soul of the departing?
She dances to the drumbeats with a sorrowful heart.
Will she face bereavement again?
This time, nothing will wash away the stain—
Not the purest water or the brightest sunshine.
Her son lies lifeless on the bed;
It’s past twilight,
Just a few hours until midnight.
There must be a summoning before the departed crosses the threshold to the beyond.
The drumbeats take on a different cadence,
The priest turns to her with a smile.
They have achieved a significant milestone,
Tears stream down her face.

Looking for a Reason,
To be Okay with Leaving,
The Past behind.
Try and Find My peace of Mind.
Fully Redesign And Realign,
Into the Eyes of The Divine.
To Truly See,
What lies in front of me.
The Balance within Duality.
Bringing us clarity,
And the Severity,
of Each Situation.
The part we play in relation,
To the Paths that could be taken.
Rearranging Reality,
The Past held in Gravity,
As We Lift Off.
Changing the pace,
Expanding our Knowledge base.
Exploring Unlimited Space,
And Evolving as a Race.
Together facing the Unknown,
In spaceships made of Bone.
Our Past set in Stone,
We Leave it alone.
Focusing on how we've Grown,
Shown by Example.
Handling Challenges,
As they are thrown.
Sampling Our Present,
The Gift we Always Own.
Rippling through reality,
Breath experiencing gravity.
IN and OUT of it's cavity,
Sweet flavors of your grace.
Savoring the taste,
Leaving nothing to waste.
inhaling,
Entering the space,
Stillness,
A Sacred Embrace.
As molecules play chase,
Since your inception.
Tracing it's direction,
Feeling it flowing in.
That loving Oxygen,
Bringing good Intentions.
Witness the Intervention,
Letting the LOVE enter in.
An expansion happening,
Two energies interacting.
New Chemicals reacting,
Impacting every Cell,
Connecting, and Directing,
Your perfect design.
Resign.
Realign.
Letting go,
Exhaling smooth and slow.
Release the pain,
Blow out the sorrow,
A new element ,
Released from the bellow.
Energy shared with all below,
Helping your environment Grow.
A Relationship I HOPE you know,
And the Importance of our Role,
A ripple of The Whole,
IN and OUT,
Since you first cried out.
I've Been carrying a Cross,
Built over the years.
Constructed by,
My Burdens and Fears.
Its dragging behind me,
Within this perfect design.
A crucified Mind,
Tries to Realign,
I was running blind.
Tears fill my eyes,
Myself I Brutalize.
The GOD inside Cries,
When I've fallen down,
And heavy thoughts,
Peirce my crown,
Thorns all around.
The trumpets Sound,
There's no Time now.
Get off The Ground,
Plow Ahead,
You're not Dead.
Dreading what's been said,
Rejected,
I raise my Head.
A Proud Man covered in red.
The Past is being Reflected,
Just as expected.
Nailed to the Tasks at Hand,
I do what I can,
To understand,
My part in the Plan.
Awaiting the Command,
I feel it Sinking in.
Blood soaked land,
Covers where I stand.
The thorn in Their side.
The Time is at hand,
I rise, Unified.
Letting it all go,
Giving into the Flow.
Now Becoming Whole,
Seeing my true potential.
Life is sequential,
And The Cross,
Was only Mental.
There's a fire starting,
Burning deep within.
Tumbling structures,
Of complex design.
Crumbling the fabric,
Of your mind.
A? reality you define,
Programs to redesign,
Morals to realign,
Balance is divine.
-?-------------
Growing our fire inside,
Flame's making their mark,
Spirit feigning its spark.
Being so connected,
While so far apart.
Coming from the heart,
We start.
Adding the fuel,
Gaining our strength,
Preparing the dual.
Each individual,
Doing their part.
-?--------------
Add your piece,
To the beast,
Together now,
Let's release,
T houghts of love,
A blaze of peace.
Filling the skies,
Silencing the cries,
Scorching evil,
From our eyes.
Realize, Energize,
The Phoenix is on the rise.
Roots,
There's an energy, Vitality,
Bringing a healthy tenacity,
A Living sense of security,
Lying in the roots of divinity.
Attached eternally,
Affecting us internally.
Waiting for us to see,
So it can be balanced properly.
Our souls existence,
Comes with an inheritance,
Void of remembrance,
Of our past performance.
Bringing yet another chance,
To enjoy this cosmic dance.
Re experience the romance,
Enhance it's importance.
Watching energy cascade,
Flowing path being laid,
Correcting mistakes we made,
Accepting the parts we played.
Stepping out from the shade,
We are no longer afraid.
Negative energies fade,
As balance is regained.
An energy of the divine,
Lies in the base of the spine,
Thumb and index the line,
To ground and realign.
A survival hardline,
Trust in it's design.
Stabilize the vine,
Let the roots and the self,
Combine.
Become The Divine
I feel there's something missing,
My thoughts are sputtering, spitting,
Whirlwinds spinning.
The debris, twisting me,
I'm getting dizzy.
My twirling personality,
Is now angry and spacey.
My inner vision blurry,
And my head is achy.
Who am I suppose to be?
All alone, Empty,
Just One, among the many.
Here, seeking GOD'S company.
I'm waiting for you to talk to me,
As I begin breathing peacefully.
Eyes closed, Sitting silently,
I imagine serenity,
As a deep blue sea,
Outstretched before me.
Thewaves roll in calmly,
Balancing my energy.
Thoughts churning slowly,
Turning the Key,
Letting me see,
My true ability,
And setting me free.
Always striving to be,
The better part of me.
Earning a higher degree,
In the Realms of Mystery.
Putting an end to the misery,
That has littered our history.
A whole new clarity,
To Spirituality.
Redesign your reality,
Redefine Humanity,
Realign our Family.
PLEASE,
STOP the Insanity.
Return to unity,
The ONE,
We were Meant to be.

She basks in the golden glow,
Draped in sunlight, ready for the show.
Empty laughter fills the evening air,
Her dreams alight, she doesn’t care.
Twirling in silk, adorned with lace,
Capturing moments that can’t be erased.
The world’s her stage, the city her muse,
The awaited golden hour, she can’t afford to lose.
Just a block down,
Another woman weeps,
Through crowded streets, she weaves,
Where hope has been denied
And promises deceived.
Her heart heavy as the golden hour strikes,
Burdened by night, searching for solace
Whose bed will she share for tonight
As they both glance up at the tie-dyed sky.
The other’s pout parts,
The other lets out a weary sigh.
One basks in warmth, while the other hides,
For the golden hour decides.
Their fates so different
Two lives entwined in a fleeting hour,
One finds bliss, the other her power
The sun sets low, casting shadows,
Skin tan and glistening
While the other is pasty and sallow
The starlet hopes to shine
The trick dreads tomorrow
Their paths entwine in the golden hour,
Where both their worlds realign.
Pain comes back to reposition you
It can return to steer you in the right direction
It alters your course and
At times, it forces you to rethink your situation
Repurposed pain
It is here to retrain you and
Realign you so that you finish your purpose
Pain comes back to reposition you

In the heart’s soft embrace, where warmth resides,?With hazel eyes like autumn’s fleeting tides,?They sparkle with laughter, a glimmer, a tease,?Pulling me closer, like leaves in the breeze.
Her beautiful smile, a radiant sun,?Lights up the shadows, where worries are spun,?A canvas of joy, where dreams intertwine,?In moments we share, our souls realign.
Lips curved like whispers, inviting and sweet,?Each word a caress, each kiss a heartbeat,?In the dance of our laughter, the world fades away,?In the hush of our love, I long for the stay.
With every glance shared, every touch, every sigh,?The universe knows, it’s just her and I,?In the depths of her gaze, a promise so bright,?That love truly flourishes, wrapped in soft light.
So here’s to my girlfriend, my heart’s gentle muse,?With hazel eyes shining, it’s her I can’t lose,?In this journey together, through thick and through thin,?With her by my side, I know love will win.
In shadows cast by bottle's glare,?A stepfather sits, lost to despair,?Mean and cold, with a heart of stone,?In the wake of his anger, no warmth is grown.
The walls bear witness to whispered dread,?As hours stretch long with words unsaid,?Each clink of glass, a thunderous toll,?Echoes of misery, consuming the soul.
Bitter words drape like heavy chains,?A child’s laughter drowned in the strains?Of thunderous storms within the home,?Where love is a ghost, forever to roam.
Eyes once bright, now dimmed by fear,?Silent prayers cast into the sphere,?For kindness lost in a tempest's rage,?A story written on an unwelcome page.
Yet beneath the scars, resilient and shy,?A flicker of hope still dares to fly,?To break the cycle, to seek the light,?To rise from the ashes, reclaim the night.
Though the past holds hurt like a bitter vine,?With every brave step, the stars realign,?For love can bloom in the darkest of places,?Healing the heart that this monster chases.
So here’s to the strength that refuses to break,?To dreams forged in darkness, no more forfeit,?From the grips of despair, a new dawn will weave,?A tapestry bright, for those who believe.
It's amazing where we find ourselves.
As she walks along the shore, you see her staring endlessly at the sands floor.
Why would someone come to a place filled with so much beauty around, only to embrace what was below that she kept reaching for on the ground.
Maybe there is beauty her eyes met upon that floor.
It was far overlooked since most individuals are focused on the oceans waves crashing to shore.
I would be remise to suggest her serene bliss, every time she found another without any chips.
She suddenly reached and this bend took some time to realign her spine, but when she did you seen the sun hit a tear rolling down her cheek, I watched her lips read, chipped enough and beautiful like me.
It was the beauty of the ocean that allowed her to see that her pain, and her heart were a little imperfect, but God made her perfect, like all her sand dollars collected, would be.
