Sunday siestas - not even for the birds.
All day long recalling God’s words.
Cheerfulness in every thoughtful nest.
Lowly little flock in thankfulness, at rest.
The clatter of the world is put to sleep,
As the peace of the Holy Spirit runs deep.

Death defying judgement.
Standing on a cliff in front of a sadistic sea,
A saddened soul turns his back on all humanity,
Seeking a sad Death instead of human company.
He sees his easy Death as an end to misery.
He need not be judged by God.
Sitting on the ground in a field of silent hay,
With a gun in her mouth at the end of a tough day,
A lonely girl doesn’t see bright colours only grey,
She faces Death as if revenge was the only way.
She need not be judged by God.
A dear old lady in pain asks to be put to sleep.
She begs her devout husband with a love so deep,
She cannot bare the constant pain and begins to weep,
She asks to be seen in the memories he will keep.
She need not be judged by God.
Others fear a wretched judgment by God after Death,
But a lifetime of fear and loathing and loss of breath,
The clear self judgement of a gentle soul is so tough,
The way you face your certain Death is judgement enough.

Sir Michael DeVil
Sir Michael DeVil
My soon to be ex
Is a jerk and a pill.
I cannot wait to try to break his will
For being
Deceiving
I’ll take his abode and make him fulfill
His alimony obligations, what a thrill!
Sir Michael at first glance seems like a great guy
But once you see behind his suave veneer
The man will cheat and lie
Then leave you high and dry
And only when he needs you reappear.
This dangerous viper
This liar and creep
Should be shot by a sniper
Or be put to sleep
My life was such a peaceful one until
Sir Michael, Sir Michael DeVil.

what a day!
Neither clouds nor lighting
But the sky is thundering
Hailing hard but not in usual forms
Threatened poor to keep silence.
A cute doll was used to sleep
In her grandfather's lap
Wake up morning to dress up well
Put on school bag on her back
She came to school
To learn her last lesson
Shocked by missing school.
She sang prayers
Wished happiness to all
Last night it rained without clouds
What rain
How it rained
That the beloved doll was put to sleep.
Who is wrong ,Who is right
We are crazy
but this debate is not right
Because court is not open
The judge is not sitting
So the judgement is still pending.
I hear her screams
A helpless woman is seen
The helplessness of the tired man is understandable
Who is it?
Who sowed the seeds of hatred
To harvest dead bodies in the field.
Fireworks of nights
Makes my heart restless
The loss of humanity
Increased pain too much
So you have to pick up the pen
To save the world.

Let me create a solace-filled symphony for my broken heart'
Among the humming waves and starlit heavens.
Love's affection once brought me happiness,
But as time passes,
Its strands cling to me like thorns and pierce my soul.
Let's create a cocoon of pleasant disappearance where pain's hold will wane.
Let the pain of love be softly put to sleep,
By whispered assurances of tomorrow's better suns,
And may the symphony of restoration wash over like a comforting rain,
Leaving only the delicate flowers of fresh beginnings.

Poetry is not dead
Poetry will never die
Poets do not lie
Poetry is naturally well-fed
With vibrant poems every second
Of the day to make the soil more fecund
The brain is alert and strong
Nothing can possibly go wrong
Poetry is ubiquitous
Poetry is sexy and serendipitous
Poetry is eternal
Poetry is sentimental
Poetry is empirical
Poetry is spiritual
Poetry will live forever
And Poets will never fear terror
Poets will chase away lies and put (to sleep) to bed
The truth every night for a better tomorrow
Poetry is not dead
But simply take notes to ease any sorrow
Poetry is not dead
Poetry is inordinately well-fed
Poetry is hot, super hot with Hip-Hop
Poetry is well, hot and alive
Smile, think, write, rap, read, dance and hop
And give high to all Poets: high five.

I am being forced to live
With horrible malformations
On my body
In my body
I am stuck with them for years
For who knows how long
The people want me dead
Simply for existing
They claim it is in the name of the children
But I am a child
Being forced to grow up
And I am not the only one
There are millions of us they want arrested
Or simply put to sleep
But that is too nice a word
For what they want
They want us dead
In their claim of righteousness
We want to live
Without the horrible mutilations
That we had forced upon us
They claim it's in the name of life
Yet children are shot in the streets
And the places meant to be safe
Are hotgrounds of violence and death
All we want is to live
As children are meant to do
They let children be parents
But they won't let us save our own lives
We are too young to know who we are
Yet old enough to tell someone else?
There is no possible way
For me to afford a roof over my head
But if I were to take my chances
On the streets
I would be thrown in jail or shot
For the crime of being there
I am being killed
In the name of life
And all this was only
From one news report

Black, white, yellow, red, to the Fed we are just sheep for herding, those defiant put to sleep – know governments with evil have got into bed, knee-cap the rule of law, resulting in crime and greater fear, no hope for a society living with constant dread – Destroy their non-compliant God! State to take the place, as Stalin, Hitler, Mao righteously said – Demons wear suits and fly private jets – the rest of us back to horses and buggies, pacified with lurid performances, manipulated into being mindless druggies –

"Rolled Oats"
Age shall not weary
trolls counting strange fruit
golden apples rolled
Lord Laden put to sleep
on an alter Hippomenes
there Atalanta lights a candle
underneath the dry rot
Ovid’s oracle prophecy not far wrong
3 golden apples racing along
Hippomenes
strange addiction was outshone
the race never to be won

I thought of you this morning your sweet little face
your warm dark eyes your little paws
how you slept by me in the night, your soft snore
Only 14 still young for a small dog my family my friend
your heart was enlarged, seemed fit as your heart was large
and loving I thought of you this morning with warm tears
Falling down my face and you were alone
at the emergency vet they did not let me in
The Covid kept me out until that morning
When they said you most be put to sleep
Would I want to be there oh God
and I was and I kissed you and pat you
though I felt you sensed this shot was deadly
But I told you it would be okay and the pain
would go away and you were quiet and
your eyes finally became dull and your
enlarged heart stopped.
I thought of you this morning
and I thought of others mothers and fathers
lost too and alone with dull and lifeless eyes
Love gone
I had no family but my husband
who cried with me all of us human and pets
families loss death and life both warm and cruel

Like it or not, God rules us all!
Never, not once taking a break!
We, instead, choose to see lies and the world fall.
Thanks to Eden's snake?
We can make life a bubbling joy.
Or cringe under the rule of failed, human leaders.
How about us, creating one, humane current history?
Where we make it, instead of being social media readers?
Get hip~the world was never meant to be one with peace.
That's in the next life, where evil is finally put to sleep.
And we, living with other believers in God's eternal masterpiece.
For the time being, all His words to know and to keep.
The good news is right now,be, that nobody is better than any other!!.
We were all given special gifts at birth.
Some great musicians or poets, it matters not, we are all sisters
and brothers.
Each a gem, so celebrate your life today for all it's worth!

I am broken
my bones
will not endure
this sum of
memories
feelings
thoughts
under the
loveless sun
they are crushed.
Peer long
into this grave
this pit of
despair
this black permanence
no heart is
left there
snuffed out
by potentialities
by unrealities
all great illusions
die this way.
Deep is my
slumber
cold in my
chest it
suffocates me
entombs me
a gathered gloom
is frozen recompense
for all my
imaginations
hopes and delusions
now
put to sleep
I lie in
restless repose
rotting
no lover’s kiss
for me
nay
my woeful screams
are unheeded
unneeded
by anyone that
could matter
did matter
I’m forgotten
in this permanent
filth of despair.

Her Christmas tree lit, the
prism of candles filled the room.
This poetess, you see, has no
space for gloom and doom.
She rests on a couch, feeling the
strength of God's hands.
She won't allow news crowding out the
beauty of her family life and lands.
She was insulted in blog today, for being a
loser and a creep!
She didn't know faith, hope and beauty, like animals
had been put to sleep!

IMP-EACH-MENT-AIR-DITTY III !
Holy Smoke ! Odour of incense on Beach !
Trainers marched with saddles to straddle Leech !
« SILENCE ! » Dull as Thunder !
« Under pain of locker ! »
Grave mist hung low on Life-Savers each !
CJOTUS kept clock arms for each to preach
Who summoned Founding Fathers onto Beach !
« This race is no Trial !
Draw horse blood in phial !
Drink ! » said Chief Life-Saver Nation to teach !
Coast-Guard in Cloak-Rooms begged bets to reach
The magic number to put to sleep Teach
« Hold back horses until
All bets are in the till !
I’ll let none throw law-books on my Leech ! »
Indicted Jockey rode-off bareback on Leech !
To save face while saddled Life-Savers preach:
« No Nuts ’n Bolts-on, please !
This fake Trial must cease ! »
Come November who’ll lose this race on Beach ?

The Cat in the Hat came back a while ago
But the costume he wore to vroom the pink snow
Made him look like an extra in a cheap minstrel show
So that cat was pure toast; he just had to go...
Little Bo Beep has been put to sleep
Haven't you noticed? Not one black sheep
And Old King Cole, stripped of his royal role
For culturally appropriating merry old 'soul'...
As for Rocky the Squirrel and His Friends
They've met an untimely end
For mocking two good Communist spies Boris and Natasha "Badenov"
Rocky and Bullwinkle surely will die...
With sorrow, I inform you of the demise
Of Clark Kent, whom fans came to despise
For resisting the advances of one Lois Lane
'Course had he succumbed, he'd have been killed just the same...
And shed no tears for the 'Mighty Mouse Playhouse'
For 'Mighty' was a real louse of a mouse
He thought some characters good, others evil
Thereby denying relativism -- How terribly medieval!
