Feline Majesty

Graceful and sleek, with fur so soft,
A feline beauty, aloof and oft,
She prowls the night with watchful eye,
In search of prey that scurries by.

With stealth and skill, she makes her move,
Her razor-sharp claws and teeth to prove,
She's queen of the hunt, the master of all,
A creature of instinct, she heeds nature's call.

Yet when the day

slits in the blinds
of a guestroom
leaking morning through
skinny orange white cat
follows an old man in his underwear
down the hall to the bathroom 
and back to his bed
she meows, stands on his chest 
rubs her nose on his head 
purrs 
licks his whiskers
--part of the hospitality package
echoes down the hall 
cries 
his almost two year old

Purring
contentedly
just being with my love
and basking in the afterglow
of our ascent to the peak of pleasure,
I now settle, spent and cozy,
in the crook of his arm
like a kitty -
purring

Will Start Soup Ladies Purring

Growing it again, to my beard I'm referring
Not marijuana that the Feds are deterring
My face fuzz it is
Much charm it gives
Most likely will start all the Soup ladies a-purring<>

Listen to the sound of silence within
Heightened ecstasy of bliss ignition
As renewal each moment does begin
Listen to the sound of silence within
Our delight unbound as we melt therein 
So benign is the divine explosion

Purring Tranquil Calm

Moment to moment, the moments entwined
Wonderment and astonishment unbound 
Essence of presence to divine assigned
Ineffable bliss going round and round
Form vivified with electricity
Renewal thus in continuity 

Mind body sheds off its inhibition
Awareness fulcrum centred in the void 
Discarding ego borne limitation 
Dance divine within has us overjoyed
In rapturous ecstasy we remain
A tranquil spacial calm pure

I like my kitten
       he is silly and playful
                 he has kind ankle

God caused my cute cat to be purring;
Went to sleep and it started occurring;
Eyes closed,
We supposed,
And his sound had been reassuring

While a pretty kitty kept on purring;
Our God made sure it was occurring;
At Thanksgiving;
Will like living;
Still do see my mother's ghost stirring.
