In the face of an early morning drizzle,
On a fireside earth-throne,
I sit and summon thoughts.
The firewood, red with the suppressed anger of
Smouldering fire,
Crackles constantly
Amid the paying of wages of serenity.
Thoughts and fascination cringe
My breath now pulsated by the throbs of wanton
Visions . . .
Invasion!
A gust of rain wrestles me down.
I stand, peering deeply into the grey, fussy
Band of wetness,
Where the eyes of rain met mine
In one quixotic moment.

The lyrical quartet hearts of Liverpool pulsated,
turning the mundane drab shades into tuneful light
with the mesmeric melodies that enticingly resonated
with iconic songs “Love me do”, “Let it be” of delight,
that became a legacy of the musical golden age,
suffused many souls with synchronized joy and sorrow,
as The Beatles rocked and rolled on the world stage
with wonderful attraction of magnetic musical show,
where guitar strings echoed within the songs soaring free
on the rhapsodic wings of peace, hope and love galore,
beyond their time into the domain of sonic eternity,
where their fabled music lives adored forevermore.

The silver orb of the luminous full moon ascended,
slithering silent on the satin slope of sapphire sky.
Enticing cadence of the dancing sequins sensual
pulsated through the aura of the argentine night.
Rhapsody rolled on the waltzing waves of cerulean sea,
performed in the ballet of floating flakes of the moon.
Celestial charisma surged entranced with ethereal elan,
flooded me in the torrential tide of immersing emotion.
The euphoric moon slices spread on the ebullient sea,
I held one in a cup of still water in the palm of my hand.
Beneath the mystique shroud of the stardust sheen
I perceived esoteric essence of love laced by lunar lure.
The enticement morphed into flickering face dancing
in my dreaming eyes as I saw your enthralling smile
glow in the beckoning beam of the mesmeric moon,
still fixed at the fringe of my heart, so near yet so far.

waking up in the wee hours of the night
magnetised form charged with divine light
third eye glistened, pulsated and whirred
root at base of spinal column concurred
liquified energy flowed in third eye and spine
in childlike trust our presence chose to align
energisation done we felt a tap on our head
grace descended of which naught can be said
a subtle yet firm energy descent in a swift sweep
from head to toe permeating each cell within deep
or simply stated, to be touched by God

One day in a trance meditation state,
ego fell like a dead leaf from a tree,
even as rhythm of bliss magnetism chaste,
frolicked amidst lilac flowers carefree.
Awestruck beholding presence turn to dust,
formless awareness pulsated as light,
infusing bliss mists in mind-body crust,
in swan like movement designed to delight.
Unlike shifting seasons that come and go,
death of identity saw soul reborn,
crowned with rainbow’s highest frequency glow,
waltzing playfully like a unicorn.
Dewdrops on virgin grapes quenched our heart’s thirst;
we fell, rose and wooed Cupid unrehearsed.

with nothing to reflect upon
self-existent light pulsated
renewing itself within itself
ineffable peace prevailed
in a realm without attributes
complete yet strangely inert
one became two polarising
tango dancing with delight
lost in trance, amnesia set in
flawed perception and stupor
became cause of suffering
until souls befriended silence
descent followed by ascent
thus became the need of Self
by contracting and expanding
by concealing and revealing
itself to itself in a lucid dream
which the ego believes is real

WARMTH
In your eyes visualised my immersion.
My wobbled heart pulsated: ‘Please do respond.’
Your glow of eyes reflected my passion.
At last we were tied in social bond.
Desired delighted days on unison.
Thought emotion to flow like stream endless.
But initiation, evolution
and extinction! That’s natural process.
Days passed ! Couple stepped to higher status.
Parents give family,priority.
Rearing children, life turned abloom lotus.
First and foremost ! Responsibility.
Compromise and adjustment in each step.
Only WARMTH I need ! Passion to escape.

Time’s scorched peach, spread syrupy soft
rolling thick then thin its umber, gossamer
Inside a dome gone silent, beating bacchii
pulsated a slow awakening like oozing sap
lazily rolling as a veil unfurls its edged curl
Elongating silken strands, etching in drape…
Time lays on rocky curves and water’s flat
Its lurid rays painless, whisper “Shh, it’s I!”
Mesmerized, all still to be charred in “Om”
Eventide then swallows silhouettes, whole…

"a dagger of pain, a tear of grief" - Quote by - Constance La France
With the melodic cadence of my fervent heart,
pulsated the charming tinsels of the mesmeric night,
gleamed my love for you with the enticing tinge,
suffused with the sequins of the silver moon.
I felt in a trance the sweet touch so tempting
of your captivating charisma intangible,
but you drifted away from my engrossed perception
like the autumn cloud wafting in the twilight sky.
In the barren valley of flowers my cataract heart,
cascaded as the stream of melted glacial mind
beyond the turquoise course of lingering longing,
on the desolate plateau I wandered going nowhere.
From the ebony edge of the gloomy night
storm clouds surged with blades of shearing pain,
lacerated the lilting facade of the sky I call my heart,
where the shards of dream floated in tears of grief.

Dear heart
Let me start
You became my horizon of the nascent dawn
From its edge of vibrant pallet a new day rose
All the colors the brush of dream ardently chose
You saw the panorama of sunburst love drawn.
In the fervent ripple of spring zephyr you swayed
The rhythm resonated with your sonorous beat
Its captivating cadence had never been so sweet
For you composed the music of love to serenade.
You painted the picture of dawn’s scarlet sky
On the dew drenched petals of my garden rose
Where I saw the facsimile of her florid face repose
You designed the ornate beauty for me to descry.
You were draped in silken sheen of stardust hue
Pulsated to crescendo with symphony of ecstasy
Floating on rhythm of your lyric she came to me
Swept by the flood of desire she embraced you.
Stars creating astral crown sprouted one by one
Adorned her when she returned to my longing sky
Embellished by the moonbeam lattice passing by
And you got configured into crystal constellation.
You’re God’s reward
My heartfelt regards.

This mind viewed the nimbus cloud from the ground;
holding the arm of imagination.
I looked at the picture that I had found;
till I was lured by mental conception.
My heart pulsated in a pounding sound
when I saw the searched thought in cognition.
The silent ink penned in melancholy
in my own world where I saw things in glee.

Her eyes lightened the darkness of my hopelessness,
something about its softness pulsated.
Oh, what a prize,
my dear be mine.
I stared at her gently moving pupils hopeful,
to catch her gracious, precious attention.
But as our eyes locked, her consort arrived,
which solidified that she won't ever be mine.
Will there ever be a time when,
I can see such beauty again?
Short-lived dreams and,
pyrrhic triumphs.

A short cut through the tunnel led me home,
a route I'd taken many times before
but on that misty, cold October night
along its path a nightmare lay in store.
An unfrequented disused railway line
its tracks and sleepers long since cast aside,
pitch black and narrow, weathered through the years,
a glint of distant light its only guide.
I started on my way without a qualm
my crunching footsteps echoed all around
but halfway through, with dread, stood petrified
my heart pulsated wildly at the sound.
A haunting scream rang out and pierced the soul
its echo adding tenor to the plea
I froze, against the dank and frigid wall
for what seemed like a vast eternity.
Sideways and softly feeling my way back
I reached the tunnel entrance and then fled.
Next day the headlines screamed the grievous news:
'At the old track a girl has been found dead.'

it hurt so much that she prised out the molar in despair
with a corner post missing pain oozed from wounded flesh
one cavity exchanged for another but rawness lay bare
she tried painkillers and sedatives then settled for hash
anguish hampered her feelings and she tore at her heart
until emotional turmoil pulsated in oblivion and voids
took a few more puffs from the reefer to make a start
to clean up her act but failed and reached out for opioids
dazed in a haze it appeared to work well for a short while
she pickaxed her mind and attempted to extract the root
of disorientation sorrow and evil but her mind remained vile
confused and drugged the remedy’s effects stayed rather moot
alcohol uppers and downers magic mushrooms and cocaine
followed her on the devastating road to full blown compulsion
whatever she tried she spread bedlam and became more insane
threw the drugs in the loo and looked back in fearful repulsion

One night - arm in arm -
we started walking home.
We had been dancing and it had grown late,
but oh, how bright was the night!
No one else was around us,
but encircling the moon,
the stars above
were winking
down on us!
Even though this was our first date,
the chemistry was strong.
The air was chill, so we stopped.
As he wrapped his coat around me,
he stayed in that one spot,
simply looking into my eyes.
The stars kept winking.
I, however, was unblinking
as I gazed back into his shining eyes.
If there were sounds,
I did not hear them.
The ground could have vanished
from beneath our feet,
and I would not have known it.
Extraordinary sensations
pulsated through my body.
Giddy, I felt as if I almost could not breathe.
In that magic moment,
he placed soft fingers
beneath my chin,
tilting my face just right
as he leaned in
ever so gently
for that first kiss
underneath
a moonlit sky.
