Premium Member Love Gift

I saw Love climb upon the wind
Heard the laughter in the breeze
Tasted lilacs, jasmine, and honeysuckle
With a turn and twist Love caressed my skin
The scent of dark chocolate filled my nose
A deep longing-hunger arose within me

Love was off again gathering the rain clouds
A shower of tears . . . refreshing
My parched soul drank deeply
Sweetness spread across my tongue
My body filled with Love’s offering
Now joyful tears fell from my eyes

A drowsiness overcame me and I slept
Love slipped into my dreams
Warm light cocooned me and filled my lungs
Bright colors danced upon my fantasies
An incredible energy pulsated throughout my body
Love took my hand and laughing -- we chased the light

Breathing hard I asked Love . . . this precious gift, why me? I am unworthy
Love answered: I Am the whisper in the wind
The Spirit of truth seeking and restoring . . . you are wholly loved
Of the mighty Kings -- Faith, Hope and Love
I Am the greatest . . . and you are worthy to Me
Go now and be Love . . . and know, I Am with you always

Premium Member Beauty and the Stars

A beauty in the forest lived alone.
One night she went outside where moonlight pooled
inside a clearing. There her blue eyes shone
as she looked up to see the sky bejeweled.

Bejeweled with twinkling stars the heavens were!
Those stars gazed down at Beauty and were so
in awe of what they saw, they winked at her!
She reached as if to touch them, eyes aglow!

If stars could be released, to fall from sky
to earth, the face of Beauty they would touch
and on her cheeks, serenely, they would die
from having loved a mortal far too much.

Sweet Beauty, who with nature was in tune,
called out to each and every twinkling star,
“My dears, you are companions to the moon.
I love you, but you must stay where you are.”

The stars shone brighter just to hear her voice.
If stars have hearts, they pulsated with love.
They said, “Dear Beauty, though it’s not our choice,
we’ll here remain and watch you from above.”

"a dagger of pain, a tear of grief" - Quote by - Constance La France

With the melodic cadence of my fervent heart,
pulsated the charming tinsels of the mesmeric night,
gleamed my love for you with the enticing tinge,
suffused with the sequins of the silver moon.

I felt in a trance the sweet touch so tempting
of your captivating charisma intangible,
but you drifted away from my engrossed perception
like the autumn cloud wafting in the twilight sky.

In the barren valley of flowers my cataract heart,
cascaded as the stream of melted glacial mind
beyond the turquoise course of lingering longing,
on the desolate plateau I wandered going nowhere.

From the ebony edge of the gloomy night
storm clouds surged with blades of shearing pain,
lacerated the lilting facade of the sky I call my heart,
where the shards of dream floated in tears of grief.

Premium Member The Echo Returns Not

I call out your name from hilltops and lofty mounts.
But I get no response, not even an echo return.
Once our laughter pulsated through crannies and crevices
And along seastrands with the sibilance of waves and the roar of billows.

When we paced hand in hand with a single song at heart against time and tide,
Every word and every syllable you uttered echoed with a love so true,
Creating sweet reverberations in my heart and sending me to raptures.

I don’t know when was it that the whirlwind came sweeping along
Scarring us by lightning as a flash of fury followed by deadly thunder
And crushed the delicate petals of our blossoming love.

I am plagued with longings and memories come crowding in my mind
Tears ooze out from the wide stretch and corners of my misty eyes.
I, then call out your name with all my might in thundering voice,
As the drowning man clutches at the straw, as the last desperate attempt.
But I get no response and no echo returns to my utter disillusionment.

However, in a mystical way, I get perennially connected
To your life’s light and darkness and your heart’s mute language.
Though no echo returns, in my heart your voice lingers for ever,
Chanting love’s sweet refrains and staying as a bitter sweet reminder.
I often get blended with your scent which stands out and makes me giddy
Among a plethora of so many other less intoxicating fragrances.

Now I wander through the empty corridors of my life
Again, and again calling out your name, but no echo,
R….E…..T…..U…..R…..N....S!

Premium Member Plagued By Memories

In the splendorous sapphire space of my pristine heart,
shimmering in the sanctified radiance of the indigo night,
you gleamed like seraphic sequins of argentine moondust,
making me feel fascinated as I sensed your cerulean sheen.

My heart morphed into a mesmeric turquoise lake,
where the rose petals flying from my garden floated
with the reflection of the facsimile of your floral face.
My soaring spirit engraved the beauty of heavenly intuition.

My heart swathed by the silver streaks of stardust sparkle,
pulsated at its crescendo with the concerto of ecstasy,
where the beauty of your enticing ballet I saw imaged.
Suffused with moonshine my mind mirrored your charm.

My mind became resplendent replica of memory montage,
as the platonic pattern of heavenly love’s perception
configured the enticement image in kaleidoscopic collage.
where the unsoiled mirror of my heart reflected your beauty.

My yearning blazed in the inferno of your essence,
with the winged blizzard of winter the flame flew away,
turning the mind to extinguished embers of afflicted past,
piling up in debris of remembrance, swathed by gloomy ash.

On the weary wings of the winter of dire discontent,
wafting in wilderness on the polar winds of despair
the wilted leaves of my languishing longing
blew away rustling into the obscure realm of nowhere.

My yearning turned into glacial embrace of aggravation,
you flew away from the congealed fold of beleaguered love.
Forsaken in the freezing darkness of the arctic nest,
I live with the frozen feather you left in my plagued memories.

Premium Member Have I Ever Told You

have I ever told you that... a picture crystallized in my heart~
an evening, mesmerizing starlit sky,
two youngsters ~ ardently absorbed in each other.
you narrated an entire story ~ with so much zeal~
a spellbound account of love and loss -  did not have slightest idea what loss really meant!
I was a captive listener!
what magic did you instill with your hypnotizing voice?
became a priceless memory I could never erase.

have I ever told you that ...I remember an evening of strolling back together
by a desolate narrow village-street...from a favourite musical...
dark noiseless night.. stars mysteriously blinking...
tall trees apprehensively watching,
just the two of us... didn’t hold hands,
walking straight into the night...as if in a trance..
the sight never faded away!

have I ever told you that ...a miraculous evening ~ never slipped away
in front of a mighty waterfalls, an undeniable witness of our bond,
raining uninterrupted...rain and the falls...flooded, drenched both of us,
never witnessed pouring rain the way I did...
my heart never pulsated like the way it did..,
a ruby-crowned kinglet crooned inside me,
heart leapt and almost burst with a sensation of craziest happiness,
rapt with profound sadness..
with the anticipation of losing you.

Reminiscences transformed into.... dreams~

one pearl gets found from thousands of seashells, found my pearls in the ocean of memories.

Last Night

Our bodies unified with what our hearts deemed to be right

A sensual and explosive passion that penetrated through the night

The intensity of our passion sent shockwaves from my breast to my hips

The sexiest sensation ripped through my body when I kissed you on the lips

Feeling you inside of me and listening to the words that you spoke

Made me drip wet with anticipation with your every mastered stroke

The taste of creamy nectar pulsated in our mouths

Addicted to your ******, we may never leave this house

Our bodies and soul mesmerized by Euphoria and the intensity it left behind

Last Night I met new depths because you made love to my body and my mind

                                                                        -Essence Emani

Island of Rhodes

Sophisticated city full of blitzkrieg, I am just a visitor interested in your history.
To travel so far, I must enjoy the sights I see.
Riding via the scenic view to capture some photography,
Easy to relax and just be me.
Elfie and excited, I am pulsated by such beauty.

Living just for the moments of captivity, I send a shout out.
Ialysus is a place to drive.
Got the streetlights in my eyes, relishing the peace inside.
Heights I never figure I would reach.
This came from living right, I guess.
Shimmering sparkles of cava I will drink at my penthouse that sits in view of the
Aegean Sea.

Premium Member The Concert

It was a summery San Francisco evening.
Dressed in tight jeans, I was the modern mother
taking my daughter to the first and last concert of our youthful days together.
Though we sat back in the general admission seats of a huge amphitheater,
the excitement all around us was palpable.
The audience, mostly women, screamed with delight
each time we heard the first few notes of our heartthrob’s songs
exploding, immediately recognizable, from the speakers
strategically placed around us.

The sky began to darken as lights played upon the stage,
enhancing our idol’s chiseled features on the wide screen above us..
No longer able to contain ourselves, most of us were on our feet.
As the beat from the band pulsated through us, body and soul,
we became a mass of swaying flesh, uniting ourselves
with this enthralling performer in the only way we knew how.
Unable to stop, I let the music guide my hips inside those skinny jeans
as I stood there grooving to hit after hit after hit!

That night I was sexy, free, and forever young,
and I was one with them all
                                               in pop rock paradise.

Vampire Visit

I went to bed one breezy night
Pulled up the covers oh so tight
Dreams came upon me quite so quick
Beyond the curtain of foggy mist
There stood a vision of perfect stature
Eyes penetrating into deep inner nature
While laying there sound asleep
Upon my bed He did creep
Scents of lavender filled the room
As my heart pounded and was consumed
With visions so lovely beyond compare
As we were lifted together up in the air
A tight grasp upon me this creature of prey
As I gave no resistance and all colors went gray
At rhythm as one we pulsated soully entwined
Feelings inside that felt so utterly sublime
All at once and out the window he went
Leaving me lay there exhausted and spent
My eyes they closed in famished sleep
Beyond great borders wide and deep
Morning's sun arose through the open shades
And to start another day my way I made
To see a vision upon my neck lo and behold
The stranger in my dreams left two little holes

Vampires is the topic I chose to inspire this poem.

Premium Member Underneath a Moonlit Sky

One night - arm in arm -
we started walking home.
We had been dancing and it had grown late,
but oh, how bright was the night!
No one else was around us,
but encircling the moon,
the stars above
were winking
down on us!

Even though this was our first date,
the chemistry was strong.
The air was chill, so we stopped.
As he wrapped his coat around me,
he stayed in that one spot,
simply looking into my eyes.
The stars kept winking.
I, however, was unblinking
as I gazed back into his shining eyes.

If there were sounds,
I did not hear them.
The ground could have vanished
from beneath our feet,
and I would not have known it.
Extraordinary sensations
pulsated through my body.
Giddy, I felt as if I almost could not breathe.

In that magic moment,
he placed soft fingers
beneath my chin,
tilting my face just right
as he leaned in
ever so gently
for that first kiss
underneath
a moonlit sky.

Your Secret Admirer

Balmy by the looks so beguiling
A sudden feeling aroused by the essence so quest,
You simply smile by the au jus of your lips -
A solitaire awaited by the presence so lest,
Whoso you deserve – a solemnity within shone;
A panorama of thoughts, a swain to be, yours
A secret admirer.

Yenned for the day so longed
A fortune behold by the ephemeral so cadged,
You simply versed by the espy of your eyes -
A moribund velleity now braced by the apathy of days,
Whoso you deserve – a solemnity within shone;
A panorama of enamors, an amigo to be, yours
A secret admirer.

Faith for the beguile so au fait
A hollo minced by the depth so pulsated
You simply filched thy heart by the ires so true
A nascence of juvenile by the paroles of numb
Whoso you deserve – a solemnity within shone;
A panorama of wordses, a promise to be, yours
A secret admirer.

Drive Through Nursing Home

Hey man, let's stop by the drive through nursing home.

'Okay.'

I pulled up to the menu

'Uh, I'll have a septuagenarian widower whose hobbies include
pottery (specializing in lawn ornaments) and taxidermy.'

You want anything?

'Nah.'

Alright.

I drove around and handed the register
jockey twelve bucks.

He just stared at me.
Stared into me
and through me
Simultaneously.

At that moment,
I realized that I did
not know where I was
or why I was there
or who was in my car.

I did know
that the kid on the register
was not some kid on the register,
but a subterranean genie who
had trapped me
in his spindly game.

His fingers splintered into
flowing walls of fishscales.

His nose pulsated into a
badge of strobing
iron-grey light.

His eyes continued to stare,
even as he shimmered and
flickered.

A cold gate opened
between me and the
window.

His tongue extended
through the gate
and down my throat.

'Bite down. It's time to take your medicine.'

I gulped.

Sprinkled raindrops appear upsprings emotions And with a little smile up the road, we roam all up and down the space mountain stone walls
open gates over the place we call home. Shifts high we could not believe the next-level gratitude gripped our hearts with tears of joy flew and kissed the nectar that connects soul to soul

Crosswalk staircase stairs way up in Glory. We do rejuvenate many hands lifted up to glory up lifted hands reached up in adoration when dreams showed signed adoration too As I gazed out my window across the rustic lawn looking up at the sky thinking what a dream I had what is the interpretation of this to me in my everyday life? I wonder about this my dream one

Big-Bang Love

You not only kissed my lips;
you also kissed my heart;
energy that pulsated within me
caused an explosion; a big bang!

New stars, galaxies, and planets
were created. Your warm, soft kiss
was the fuse. My long, deep kiss was
the bridge to my heart.

A new universe of magical possibilities and love,
was created with your help; you became my goddess
of love in passionate silence......
