bee swoons flower too long
honey making delayed

was an annoying procrastinator

"In twenty years, I guess, I could be dead;
I could survive for longer though,' he said,
'but then again, I may have little time -
it's been so long since I was in my prime.
The sands of time perhaps are running low -
I find it hard that I don't really know,
because I'd take a cruise or rob a bank,
or maybe swim with sharks inside a tank
with knowledge that my life was running out.
I'd want to leave this planet with a shout!
Tomorrow is the day I dread and fear;
I shouldn't fret as I may not be here.
However long my time on earth will be -"

"The Procrastinator Conference Day, has yet again been postponed."
Dear Procrastinator,
Your yesterday’s tomorrow is today
maybe i'll do it now, maybe i'll just wait or,
maybe i'll take a nap and save this little book for later,
maybe i'll go run maybe i'll go jog,
maybe i'll really think about it when this show is off,
maybe i should socialize, maybe i should stay inside,
maybe just maybe it may be better to go and drive,
maybe i should concentrate instead of try to contemplate,
maybe ask her for date or maybe i should wait?
maybe i'm a lazy guy, maybe i don't have the time,
maybe it'd be better if i didn't procrastinate.
The Procrastinator
Have a tendency to procrastinate
My motto: “Not now, it can wait.”
"Let's negotiate a better price."
"You mean it was sold, that wasn't nice."
"How come we got a parking fine?"
"Thought we had plenty of time."
"Knew I was to clean up this mess."
"But was busy, I must confess."
"Yes, knew we were to meet at five."
Didn't know was such a long drive."
"I knew the taxes were almost due."
"Sorry we got a penalty, I really do."
"Knew should have filled the tank."
"Spent too much time at drive-in bank."
"Did't know it's sold out."
"How did that all come about?"
If I don't change my way
A pretty penny will have to pay
Instead will follow what Farragut said:
"Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead."

Higher hopes abound
Master procrastinator
Strikes out once again
What is to be stayed
Never more to recover
Dreams are in the wind
I can see it now
My best opportunity
Life could be greater
Why am I like this
I guess I should change my ways
well... maybe later
How do you expect me to respond
When you say I love you then you're gone
Yes I know you're shy but how can I
Prove my love true when away you fly
Are you teasing and playing a game
If that is so you should be ashamed
Seriously if you really care

Inspired by Silent One's poem ," Come A Little Closer ".
Selectively forgetful,
That's what my mother says -
When I'm called to do some work,
I escape in funny ways.
I'm running short of time now
But I'll tell you all I can
Of all my weird excuses,
Perhaps the worst made by man.
''Can't hear you!'' I'll just say,
''Cause the fan is way too loud''.
And then I'll hear the footfall
Like a crashing thundercloud.
Another thing I say is
''Just wait, I'm coming along,''
Then my dad comes up and says
''What you are doing's wrong''.
Those two are the most common -
See, I'm capable of much much more,
But my storybook's now being snatched out
And thrown through the bedroom door!
I'm a procrastinator with OCD.
I do nothing over and over again repeatedly.
A person of words
and not of deeds is like a
garden full of weeds.

I think I'll do the wash today so much
Has piled up since. But then the shopping must
Be done, of this I am convinced. How such
Predicaments evolved? I guess I'm just
A lazy cuss who'd rather stay in bed.
Although the chores are pending still, I swear
By all that's holy, never let it said:
I yield my soul to folly. So I declare
Today, I must accomplish first, the wash
That was neglected worse than anything
I started. Now you're thinking, all is bosh
It’s all a bunch of crap, accomplishing
But empty talk, indeed, my friend it‘s so!
My work has been deferred till tomorrow.
