Clocking Out

About to procrastinate
am putting it off
setting it aside
it's never too late
it can wait
as
now is the hour
no time
like the present
nothing important
I can't circumvent
didn't wind the clock
gave my watch away
don't need to know
what week it is
nor hour of the day
nowhere I have to be
no one's expecting me
from this moment on
no long hard climb
just eating drinking wining dining
I'm living on island time

Premium MemberWe Procrastinate

We procrastinate with good cause
Bliss grips us in rapture
World external is put on pause
Love’s fragrance we capture

God-connect our focus
Along bliss beats locus
As blossoms heart lotus

We’re at heaven’s gate
We procrastinate

Untitled

Time passes and I'm glued to the monitor,
Swiping articles on a greased up screen,
Some are absurd, some are obscene,
But how do I care,
As it sits on the lap I’m its janitor.

Acting like a sane handler,
But things go insane quickly,
With multiple tabs open how sickly,
I want to read them all.
The vital cog is I never go in-cog,
And the days I have missed the jog,
Blamed it all on the smog.

Getting the results but the process is getting wayward,
Trying to prohibit procrastinating profusely,
But my luck’s out of favor.
I’m in the danger of a mighty fall
My eyes are watering down,
While I mow the lawn
The time passes and I reminisce
I have traversed many dawns.

Don'T Wait

Her perspective was stained
Colored by the experiences in her life
Guided by her emotions
And the dark thoughts that percolated at night

She was aware of her irrational feelings
She did her best to hide the pain
She smiled for the camera; for the image
In a futile attempt to hide all of her shame

She was exhausted from the loquacious internal noise
It's hopeless to try to outrun what's inside
For the harder she fought
A little more of her died

She lived out the rest of her life
Sadly believing there would come a day
That the darkness would subside
Miraculously healing all of her pain

With her last breath drawn
A moment of clarity came into her eyes
For the first time in her life she became aware
The pain; it was all in her mind

Procrastinate

I really should start,
But where do I begin,
Thoughts come up,
But I can't lift up the pen!

Procrastinate

Feeling dignity itself is impossible,
I feel nothing or nothing more at least,
There is no way to justify.
Myself,
Things I have done or tried to do,
Or failed at,
Miserably failed at,
There’s no way to bring truth to that kind of dark,
No way to break even or who knows?
A curse?
No.
This isn’t a curse,
It’s just a fault, an inability,
Or can I be that thing I need?
You need.
They want.
At least one of those at least?
Ill churn and make for the day,
Accomplish less than I set out to,
Far, far less,
Or just end back where I began or somewhere before.

Why Procrastinate

Tomorrow mght be too late
Its quite inevitable
Why with God you can't wait
Trust, believe, have the faith
Make up your mind don't hesitate
Jesus is the way the truth and the life
For He is the One that has paid the price
For you and I
He's given us enough time to get it right, today
Why procrastinate

Premium MemberDon'T Procrastinate

Life's sun is setting and as I leave,
a loving mate to soon will grieve.
If I but had more time,
If I but had more time.

Unimportant things I had to do,
leaving precious little time for you.
If I but had more time,
If I but had more time.

As now upon my deathbed I lay,
the words I have but cannot say.
If I but had more time,
If I but had more time.

Those many things I left unsaid,
are now not possible from the dead.
If only I'd taken the time,
If only I'd taken the time.

My body now lowered into the ground,
my spirit's gone and already crowned.
There was so little time,
There was so little time.

This wisdom I leave amid your sorrow,
don't put things off until tomorrow.
For there is so little time,
For there is so little time.

For those who read these lines of prose,
give someone you love a single red rose.
While you still have the time,
While you still have the time.

Procrastinate Extinction By Understanding

It is imperative to observe constantly
What is high and low, a mountain or a valley
Thin and wide, far away and nearby
A truth or a lie, dead or alive

To reach the end of knowledge
Is to turn away victory
To deny survival amidst the pain of living
Believing what is easy to grasp comfortably
Tending to see pictures that are whole
Rather than to dive into details felt by one's soul

To consider, record, or study abroad
Aids ultimately in order to solve
Balance is what the prudent ultimately seeks
Strictness, with trust, courage, and love
Spiritual philosophy is not enough
Although fun over which to ponder
Overwhelming tidbits leaves one to wonder,
To work on resisting immediate life
And Discover how to be perfect only inside.

Procrastinate

In the darkest hour of dawn,
He will never leave you alone.

Your anchor is in His word,
pray, and you will be heard.

No problem is to impossible,
your sins are washable.

Only your heart has the golden key,
unlocking those troubles, and setting them free.

Many a wise man has wrote,
but in His book, will you find hope.

Truth is a virtue that money can't buy,
God will remember all those lies.

Trash or treasures, it's all up to you,
you are responsible for all you do.

Written, and recorded in His Book Of Life,
good, and evil, wrong, and right.

Seek forgiveness, before it's too late,
Hell will be waiting for those that procrastinate.
