Premium Member Countdown To Shame

Day one; Katrina arrives and all the rich leave
till the only ones left are the poor and naive.
And sea and air meet in a mass of screaming death
as some of the sick and injured breathe their last breath.

Day two; levees fail and water floods the city
hospital shelters are abandoned to pity.
And those scooped from rooftops are featured on the news
while others wait for rescue and the clean up crews.

Day three; as looting and gang violence disrupt
strangers huddle in the dark when gun shots erupt.
And cops barricade themselves and won’t come out
although suffering and crime fester all about.

Day four; fire and corpses add shame to the scene
while survivors get angry at clichés that demean.
For how long must they suffer how many must die
are we deaf to their pleas do we not hear their cry?

Day five; President Bush tries to deflect the blame
sending food with the army help finally came.
And the people of New Orleans rose to cheer
finally freed from five days of hunger and fear.

The Tragic Day

Two towers stood alone while a day emerge into history as memorable events
gaze among the future
Burning fires grew, grew as the towers blazed with yellow sparks as many of
those died
Planes flew all directions but that terrifying tragedy blew away people's minds
into great disaster
The many faces of President Bush gazed into tragic war that had started it all
But the end might be here but it just terrified all to stay here to the bitterly end

The Death of a Soldier

I had lunch with Roger today
He buried his son a couple of months ago
Our kids used to play growing up
He now has an emptiness I can't know

He spoke to his son
It was a Thursday, from Iraq
Alex died two days later
A makeshift bomb put his vehicle under attack

Five other men
Lost their lives that day
Just in one vehicle
While searching for others M.I.A.

A brave soul
At nineteen years age
The hollowness in his dads eyes
Are just hiding his hearts rage

President Bush is in Reno
And upon a special invite
To honor the fallen heroes
But Roger's name was not in sight

Alex gave the ultimate
His life and 100%
The President went on his way
Maybe it's because of his Mexican descent.

At least that's what Roger said. Sad huh?

Usa Is Continents Not a Nation

We a foundation like President Regan said, People there

is nothing I as President can do about that, I wish I could

but I can't, because I say we have a foundation, He President

Washington said, as I stand by the cherry tree, I can't lie

to you, there will not be any crowns here, because no one

man will have that power in America, President Bush said, I

have people that make that choice, he's right, President

Kennedy said, It not what my country can do me but what

I can do for my country, He is right its what we can do at

time of trouble, our country will take care of us when things

is ok, for me and my house its what I can do for America,

and I choice to wordship my creator, Its will with our souls

Ice Queens of Gods

There they sit on their Throne and their husbands
have girlfiends, because they can't control by
well direction of close to Intercourse PA they
are like well the price of Gold, and it cost
to well get home and children in the best
well, the children is the only reason they
control and the Laws in USA a man well
loses his childens love if mother isn't
controling everythink the snake in paradise
voice is red and wind a purple essence and
pear is on the tree and EVA won't share and
their is green grass on the mountain where
tell men stand and the eagle fly's and the
children our up set because of war, in
IRAQ, President Bush is in office, and
and a man well again won election in
America I quess she would like to get
a divorce in office and then divorce
children and world and remarried
but of course she won't won no matter
what. give it away no price for me. They
will feed you to worms people

Premium Member President Bush In Three Lines

Confusion reigns in him, even before the press conference.
Yet when there's a chance to make a bad choice, none's more decisive.
Acting only when he must, he throws the chips, lets them fall.

Call Off

Call off our Troops,
    they don't have a
    clue on the real
    scoop; because
    the President has
    them jumping thru
    invisible loops.

    Call off our men in
    green, death is the
    only thing they've
    seen; and only to be
    used as the President's
    personal killing Machine.

    Call off this W.A.R, we've
    been misled and we're
not sure what it's for any
    more; but from the way
    things are looking I would
    say," That President Bush
    Just Wanted To Settle A
    Personal Score."

Why

This is said before it was written. Why me being black makes me different. Why does it
take tragedy to make people listen. Why is it, the suspect is black when people turn up
missing. Why does racism still exsist. Why do they say uou need fours year of college
just to be rich. Why did President Bush spend $4 billion in Iraq. Why didnt he spend
as much in New Orleans, is it because most of the population is black. Why do we stand
for the pledge of alligence, when the constitution doesnt recognize most of our people.
