Premium Member Sorcery

Two of these
One of those
Take with food
One more dose
Swallow it down
Like magical spells
Self-medicate
To make yourself well
Tail of newt
Wing of fly
Take everyday and
you won't cry
Lock it all up
Behind chemical walls
Don't read fine print
Across ceiling crawl
Pharmaceutical cauldron
Sorcery lab
Not just broken body
Your soul's on the slab

the US election

The USA Election

The near future is catching up
the American presidential election
is looming

This time, there is talk of a woman,
who has charmed many with her
furious laughter

The mystery is that she has no plan
on how to rule, other than revert
to socialism and spend more money

And there is a formidable man, a survivor
of two assassination attempts, the sane
hopes will win

He, the grizzled old fighter, has on his
side two knights of the realm, who
will try to change America

One of them will tackle a colossus
identity, the pharmaceutical industry
tame it until usefulness

The knight, well past his youthhood
has a glorious family background
shining bright in recent history

The younger knight, an entrepreneur
is, on a mission impossible, to rein in
his country's enormous debt

How the young knight, is going to
stop the economic leakage; we shall
skeptically watch his endeavor

Premium Member Shingles doesn't care

There's a tv commercial with a metaphor,
that some of us may have heard before,
"shingles doesn't care".
If one rolls the virus dice rsv and covid
aren't very nice but "shingles doesn't care."
Competitive bugs that are honing in on you,
like pneumococcal pneumonia too, but
"shingles doesn't care."
In between any tv show that's on the air
these pharmaceutical commercials loudly blare,
our brains on auto pilot, we blankly stare,
cause "shingles doesn't care." Do you?

Premium Member In The Year 2424 Science Fiction

The air is foetid and breathing is so difficult.
The open window allows floating debris,
To spread its pungent staleness over all.
It’s a difficult struggle for sunlight to shine
Through the clouded fog we must inhale.
I see more pallid faces of people at the portal.
Where I read trees and flowers once grew,
Is now an industrial slum with a thick oil slick,
Oozing across the land, dead trees pillaged.
A cemetery for what once was, a thing called beauty.
Nothing that can be described that way still exists.
Farms had to die in the regal name of progress.
Oceans of fish polluted and poisoned, whales extinct.
No sand left on our beaches, Coral reefs destroyed.
Shorelines stinking and black, streams contaminated.
Waters have risen and islands sunk into the seas.
A novelty to see one of the remaining birds,
Concrete replaced something they used to call grass.
Praise the pharmaceutical manufacturers
Producing pills with vitamins to feed us and keep us alive.

Premium Member My Son Scotttie

Go ahead, ask me
Am I'm proud of my dear son Scott
You can bet your sweet darn bippy I am
Proud as one of them peacocks

Turned out to be a guru
In the fast paced world of computers
There ain't no problem my Scottie can't solve
Nuttin' can stump my Scooter

Destined to make big bucks
In the fast paced world of promotions
Not too long fore he's living on easy street
People will say what's this commotion

The commotion will be my Scottie
Setting the pharmaceutical world on fire
With ingenious solutions to all their problems
Reaching goals to which I aspired

Was once a guru like Scooter
Was a whole lot different in those days
No computers, just a big bunch of magic markers
Creating ads the old fashioned way

Go ahead, ask me
Am I'm proud of my dear Scooter boy
You better believe it, I'm over the top thrilled
He's my absolute pride and joy!

Do you think I'm a proud Papa?

Premium Member How Many More Peace Keepers

Time marches on but the story doesn't change.
Innocent lives being taken by a person whose deranged..
Last weekend in Pa. it was our state police, one is still
critical, and the other is now deceased..
The unstable shooter is also now gone.
Will this ever stop? What keeps going so wrong?
This tragic story truly rings home for me.
I had a person with mental health struggles in my family.
Psychiatrists rely on the pharmaceutical industry and
prescribe new medications that alter patients' brain chemistry.
Family members are often leery to commit, because our mental
hospitals discharge the patient still unfit, and they are left to
deal with the brunt of it.
At home, these families struggle to keep things in control.
Many times that stress alone will take a major toll.
How many more peacekeepers?
How many more innocent lives is our society willing to sacrifice?

Premium Member Because I Choose Freedom

Imprisoned

They robbed me of time,
controlled me by their lenses
censored my opinions
took my rights away

mere men speculating

ignorant kings from central casting
spoke for simpleton from the Labs
convincing me of “Experimental” concoction
for which i must not sue.

They Robbed me of time,
shamming me for my choice
Taunting me with divisive tags
unvaxx unfit to live

They shut me in like a prisoner
Because i chose freedom
deny my right to move and travel

to gain control of my body
These experiment has failed
Yet they do not care,
Pharmaceutical toying with life
and Ignorant Dictators colluding

These Fascist
rode on our collective serendipity
Turned dictators
barring us like a plaque

discriminated
restricted
Denied
Abused
deprived
Banned
denigrated
Shamed
Coerced
Because i chose freedom

Premium Member Subtle Socialism

"A man convinced against his own will, is of the same opinion still".

It used to be

two opinions
two paths
two ideologies
Two Choices

Day and Night,
Men and women,
Boys and girls,
Fathers and mothers,
Rights and the wrongs

open and closed,
gain and loses,
Lovers and the haters,
Good and evil,
Rich and poor,
Foolish and wise,
success and failure,

learned and unlearned ,
The living and the dead,
The willing and unwilling,
The thankful and thankful,
fruitful and unfruitful,
Righteous and the unrighteous.
the truthful and the Liars,

 Then came
The "Vaxxed" and "unvaxed".
the sane and the insane,
Then they had a problem
as Nations bow to Socialism
and President becomes Dictators
and pharmaceutical made the world a Lab
and the media as viceroy
compel us by repetition.

Wake Up To the Lies

Emotions run deep to the core
I've eaten so many shrooms they should be growing out of my pores
My mushie girl just wants to show me the secrets about the universe and more
Psilocybin just wants to get inside your soul and enlighten
Big Pharma wants you addicted to Fentanyl, Xanax, and Vicodin
Pharmaceutical companies just wanna ruin our lives again... and again.. and again
They don't want cures they just want you taking some kind of medication
This ensures there profitization
They are the root of the Meth and Opioid pandemic in this nation
Is it so crazy to believe in the power behind our plants
Is it so crazy to go on with these psychedelic rants
I think it's crazy that we all serve our government like little worker ants
For what? For our government to lie to us about every substance they fear
It's because they know the control they have is near
They know we are educated and we are going to prove these truths they covered up
They take tax money for marijuana and still incarcerate our family members
One day my footsteps will be remembered
As soon as corruption is finally dismembered

Premium Member Asa Candler

Asa Candler owned a drug store in Atlanta.
In 1888, he bought a pharmaceutical formula.
This brown syrup turned out to be Coca-Cola.
Perspicacious nature made him one of the richest men in America.
Yes, this was the man who introduced the world-famous soda.
In a short time, this beverage was sold around the world.
Coca-Cola can be found no matter which flag is unfurled.

I thank both wikipedia.org and www.cocacola.com for valuable information I obtained to write this poem.
