Premium Member A Personal Touch Valentine

A Candy Storefront window, a passerby pauses briefly at the array of heart-shaped enwrapped in velvet reds, filled with sweet treats like years before. The same tricks deployed as the byway take point passing a park. Then a heaven-sent gift the gentle walker, drifts a spun floater being a dove's solitaire wing. A hand reaches down and gathers it up in mental discourse. In brevity breathes deeply, and exhales soothingly. Contented, the gentle walker heads back to town, where an empty crimson velour box is bought, he makes one more stop before heading back home with a frozen smile. Amidst the expected backdrop scene where two fluted glasses filled with Dom Perignon Champagne atop a white-silk-covered small round table that graces two silver candle holders, pre-lit. The significant other donning a maroon single-piece nightdress is presented a box. He sits as she opens the box and oddly looks. As he explains his day's escapade freed him from the rigamarole being rhetorical, he lastly gifts her with a smaller box. She opens built-up with a hint of suspense that shreds away to tears. She looks up to the penitent soul while holding a solitaire diamond ring.

witty, charming, a nightcap
and she said yes, yes, yes

Mercedes Benz, Pacific Ocean

pool, sauna, jacuzzi
and she said yes, yes, yes, yes

John Coltrane caressed the ears
Dom Perignon the bloodstream
kissed with the eyes, then the lips
and she said yes, yes, yes, yes, yes

wait, wait

grabbed her, cursed her, rippped her dress
slapped her, groped her, pinned her
mounted her, took her
and she cried no, no, no, no, no–no

Premium Member If You Knew

If you knew you only had 48 hours,
To live, What would you do?
You can't cheat death the grim,
Reaper is around the corner.
He is a kind and gentle soul,
Just waiting to help you on your journey.
Yes, he is an angel guided by God,
To be the traveler as your companion,
On this journey your going to take.
As I think about it I would like to visit,
The places I've always wanted to visit.
Definitely a lobster dinner with,
Dom perignon with the love of my life.
After dinner I would rent a,
Ferrari convertible drive the PCH,
Spend the night on the beach with my love.
Watching the sunset and looking at,
The stars telling all my secrets and,
The things I never did get accomplished.
But I had the time of my life and as,
The sun comes up - I'm ready and,
Waiting for my companion as I turn,
Kiss the one person that made,
My life complete telling them don't cry.
Placing a hand on their heart and tell,
Them I'll always be here,
I'll always be with you.
I say Goodbye, turn around walk away,
Hand in hand with my companion,
Into the light as I begin another,
Chapter in my life.

Quis, Ego

Quis? Ego
~ on the anointing of Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson

So what if it was just a drunken dare
Quis? Ego! Made at Eton long ago
I dub thee Boris of the Golden Hair
Servus, servum, servi, servo, servo
So what if afterwards they went to town
and ordered tiny sparrows stuffed inside
six rare exotic birds and chased it down
with virgins' tears in mouths so open wide
one could believe designed to fit the poor
in at such times there are no partridges
Amo! Amas! Deus! Deum! and more
Dom Perignon! To Boris! Boris is
The Chosen One! So long ago, the dare
At Eton, or more probably, elsewhere

Premium Member Kick In the Heart

I laugh and I cry
And I'm doing it all at the same time
I walk and I crawl
When not bouncing around like a rubber ball
It builds you up to tear your apart
Ain't love a kick in the heart

Feels good.....It hurts
But it tingles so, you know it works
It's sour...it's sweet
A chilling breeze in the summer heat
It's seeing the light from a shot in the dark
Ain't love a kick in the heart

L.............O.............V.............E
Is such a little word
But it can teach a hurricane
More about the twists and turns

It's black.....It's white
Pinstriped...Checkerboard and Tie Dyed
It's far....It's near
A screaming whisper in your ear
It's a wishing well full of falling stars
Ain't love a kick in the heart

It's crude.....with class
Dom Perignon in a redneck's glass
It's fast.....It's slow
Gaining ground when you lose control
It's a Rembrandt made from crayon marks
Ain't love a kick in the heart

Gold Digger

You go to work,
toil hard all day.
Works for me,
keeps you out of my way.
At the end of the month
you get your salary,
then you can buy me gifts,
with which to lavish me.

Wine and dine me
a few times a week,
then another I wont seek.
I need my hair done,
you can pay
but don't hang around,
you don't have to stay.

I'll even let you cook for me,
I'll have Lobster Frittata for my tea.
Dom Perignon is the drink I choose
but no plonk please,
no cheap booze.

We can go to Paris for the weekend,
I'm sure you wont mind if I bring a friend.
Then we'll go shopping and you can come too.
There'll be bags to carry,
there'll be quite a few.

If you get tired,
I suppose you can stop
but I'll carry on to the next shop.
I test drove a sports car,
that was really nice,
I said you'd buy it,
didn't notice the price.

I'll sleep in the bed,
you can stay in that chair.
You can get a blanket,
you'll be comfy there.

What's all that?
Is that my stuff?
What do you mean,
you've had enough?
Why are my bags by the door?
What do you mean,
you don't love me anymore?
