Premium Member Percy Bysshe Shelley

I heard a poem by Shelley,
I heard it on the telly;
a sweet reminisce
about one missed kiss;
my knees just turned to jelly.

Premium Member Is Percy Trying To Pull the Wool Over Our Eyes

Percy pig was feeling quite shaken -
He'd heard pigs were slaughtered for bacon
Turning white as a sheet
He then started to bleat
As a sheep could he be mistaken!

Premium Member Poor Percy

Poor Percy acted like a schmuck
I guess he was down on his luck
He looked quite a sight
His pants were too tight
He waddled around like a duck

Premium Member Percy Penguin Finds a Partner

Percy penguin tried to dance
Sadly he had two left feet
Waltz and Tango – he took his chance
But he couldn’t quite get the beat

Then one day he did espy
An advert with his beady eye
Dance Classes Starting TODAY
He began to smile it made his day

So off to the dance hall he did go
He found a lady penguin - her name was Flo
She had lost her dancing partner – he died at sea
Now she was as happy as can be

Percy took hold of her wing and tried to dance
Could this be the start of a beautiful romance?
Alas, Percy kept treading on her tiny toes
She needed them all to walk on the ice floes

They tried again; attempting a waltz and you could see
Percy was busily counting one two three one two three
Their dancing days continue, and to this day they carry on
You see them dance on the ice beneath the setting sun

Premium Member When Percy Flops

Percy the peacock flaunts his colored tail,
Spreading gold wings like a Japanese fan
To excite a mate, a future peahen
Along the hall where children watch him sail.

Once, thrice, Percy struts a handsome display
With eyes blue, he looks around for a pick.
And ladies murmur of avian topic;
While they form a circle nearing his way.

The prettiest one robed in aqua-green
Shows interest while Percy loudly drools,
That flappers open acting super cool!
Brilliant her poise, tall as he, and serene.

Ready to capture his one, perfect bride
Wham! Percy flops on the hall’s wet cement.
An honest proposal almost denied,
But maiden takes the chance, how heaven sent!

Percy Bysshe Shelly

Clad in beauty of babbling brooks
The rustling trees, the smiling flowers
Like a skylark his words fly higher and higher
His poems smile and say YES
To the spring sky, freedom and tenderness

If I were a human I would be soooo cute
I wouldn’t just lounge in my birthday suit
I would dress so nice
With shoes to match
To cover my bare feet
I would even wear a hat
As it stands, I’m happy as can be
Cause I’m a teddy bear
All soft and cuddly…

Shadows of Percy Bysshe

Sadness explodes with my breathing
and the tears flow with lonely words.
The images of love are leaving
like the flight of the birds.
Is anything in life so naive
as this life lost in lover’s lore?
The heart broken with no reprieve,
yet still I love you more

As the heavens embrace the earth
and forests that stand proud and tall,
the blossoms bring my soul no mirth
when you can’t stop my fall.
As sunlight kisses morning dew
and lunar light embraces night,
where is the love between us two
if not within our sight?
