Premium Memberbaby angel boy had one task

baby angel boy had one task today
He had to choose his parents or heaven-stay

He watched the potential couples all day long
none seemed perfectly right, they all seemed wrong

Then he saw a child who needed a brother.
He prayed for a baby boy, with his grandmother.

Baby angel boy told the angels he had chosen and felt wise.
When this couple found out, it was an enormous surprise.

They had been told they could not have another child.
But God is good, and prayers are answered whether tame or wild.

"A mother's love is made in heaven." Quote Written By Poet

She was a young and beautiful bride,
then her handsome husband died.
The fast car came out of nowhere,
there was nothing left but prayer.
Life was about to take her on a wild ride,
but she could not go and hide.
A precious baby girl was born,
she was told to be happy and do not mourn.
For now she is dressed in pink and is nameless,
lying in the hospital crib blameless.
Loving adopted parents would come,
and save her as she sucked her thumb.
Somethings can start out bad and end up good,
our new name is parenthood.

Premium MemberI Wish

I wish I were invited to say what's in my heart
Using vibrant colors of my imagination's palette
I'd paint a universe that’s bright and cheerful

I wish I were called upon to scatter words
Like a million stars clear across the sky
I’d happily sprinkle wishes far and wide
Bringing hope to every sad child of the world

How I wish the clouds would open wide and
I’d fold each of their tears into magical paper airplanes
To reach in heaven every child's lost mom and dad

HEAVEN AND EARTH cherubim cheering, chestnuts o’er fire, plumes of heat in kin’s nighttime sleep, preparing the gift of peace — turtle doves for release. commanded, angels keep watch by moon, stirring breaths of child and their grownups. children smile, their parents groan, at waking up soon to piles of presents at bottom edge of blinking tree. cocoa and coffee speed process of ribbons and paper; joy reacts. 12/9/2020 Double Nonet Poetry Contest Sponsor: William Kekaula

OUR FAMILY — A PRAYER

After this manner, please pray with me,
Our family—You know each of us by name.

Save us all, each and every one,
That when You come,
We’ll be brides without spot or wrinkle.

Let each of us, day by day,
Watch and pray
While on this earth,
until we ascend to Heaven.

Deliver us soon
from self-inflicted wounds,
And heal us from the hurts
that we failed to heal in one another.

For You are the Author
And the Finisher of our family,
Till You come
and all is done,
Forever and ever,
Amen.

For gentle is the spirit of parents That listens intuitively to a child’s echo, An accompaniment from their breaths Speaking only purity of thought-- Without deceit or adult-like fakery: like so, Night birds croon in deep esteem, When moonlight leads their youngster home… till Burst of morning glistens on a child, Utterly joyous and fed with familial love While heaven bows back to man and wife, Humming tunes of praise for safe journeys… A couple devoted, guiding their child’s essence That makes his world ever brave and authentic. Dear God

Well you didn't expect to hear from me did you!
Guess I don’t talk to you often enough
Forgive me
I have so much on my mind but you already know that
Dad is dying but he’s happy he knows where he is going
Can you have a word with St Peter for me please?
Get him to make dads final journey a peaceful one
And can you look after dad please
Make sure he has a supply of plain chocolate in heaven
He won’t be entirely happy without it
We will try our best to look after mum when he’s gone
Although I think she may want to join dad pretty quickly
After fifty-eight years together it will be so so hard for her
Please look after them both please God
Amen
