I can either be a genius.
Or not.
Or a little piece of tape that falls off the wall.
They’re going to find me someday.
I can either be a genius.
Or be a genius.
Or be sculpted and sliced.
And let it happen again.
I can either be a genius.
And not really know anything.
Maybe we all know someone.
A kind of weird person.
I can either be a genius.
Or else.
They told me not to let anything fall.
They put too many glasses on the tray.
I can either be a genius.
Or someone holding a full tray of everything and every thought.
I could set them all down.
Or scatter!
I can either be a genius.
Or a hat, a mitten, a shirt, or a pair of shorts.
There’s nothing like me.
And it happened all on its own.

Glaring oracles, suspended high above the asphalt,
Imperiously commanding reckless drivers to a sharp halt.
Defenestrate the folly of haste, oblivious to the signals,
Prioritize life over velocity and frivolous giggles.

That man’s alluring,
To lovely lass enchanting.
That poem moves heart
Which, to readers appealing,
Or else, spring comes soon to part!

Hide under a rock,
In your mouth, stuff a sock!
Just don't say anything!
Just glue up your lips!
Or shut em' up with a lock!
Just don't say anything!
No one wants to hear your crap!
Shut up! Or we will feed you to a hawk!

Writing cheques beyond notes with distant memories of coins
Was to be your place until you couldn't gird your loins
For as soon as you are within the reach of the heights you aim
The darkness closes in on you to lay claim
Gold and silver only trail a good name
Made out of refined character and a worked gift
Let reputation precede and define your fame
Survive the sift, wade the drift and honour the lift

So precious are wee trick or treaters,
much-loved by us generous greeters.
With sacks overflowing
and bright faces glowing,
they are grateful, sweet candy-eaters.
Then droves of six-footers come brawling
For buckets of candy they're calling.
In fake kiddie voices,
they make clear the choices:
I treat or they'll trick. So appalling!
"No treat" starts the six-footers scheming.
Those ghosties and ghoulies start screaming.
My pumpkins they're smashing.
Through fences they're crashing.
By midnight the Charmin is streaming.

M-onday birth celebration
I-s delightful and grand;
T-hirtieth of January,
C-omfort is at

V-ile weather has turned
I-nto a warm sunny day;
L-ight above the horizon
L-ets the fog fade away.
A-llow the pet to stay,
F-illing his tail with fun;
L-et him feel the love,
O-r else the dog will

There’s coming a time of great cheer
when folks will drink gallons of beer
tell tales of wee sprites
and magical sights.
St. Patrick’s Day soon will be here.
On that day, if you don’t wear green,
just stay in your house. Don’t be seen,
or else a hard pinch
might cause you to flinch.
Some pinchers can be downright mean!

You must not bend nor break any rules
Not even a hint of biting them!
Else, you'll likely feed the trolls
You must not bend nor break any rules
Else, you'll likely drag over the coals
By the self-possessed medium
You must not bend nor break any rules
Not even a hint of biting them!

After holding a series of mind-numbing jobs
I was craving escape from the track-riding mobs,
And it came to me, then, what I needed to do;
It was look for a way to begin life anew.
Now, I gotta get published, or else!
Well, I'm no dilettante like the rest of you here;
See, I need to succeed or it's curtains, I fear.
I shall not be content with your feedback because
It just isn't enough to give creditors pause.
Man, I gotta get published, or else!
It won't matter how good or how bad it might be
But on-ly that it sells and brings profits to me.
It's okay if I pander to your lowest taste
Just as long as my efforts do not go to waste.
And I gotta get published, or else!
So I put in my time every day after work
In engaging my brain so I don't go berserk.
My position's a gut-wrenching grind, but I hope
To escape before reaching the end of my rope.
Please, I gotta get published, or else!

IN RIME OR ELSE IN CADENCE
The musical rhythm of vers libre
a sequence of concepts and propositions,
a record of impressions clothed in beauty.
Instinct over thought,independent of
form,prose with cadence lyrical expression.
A harmonic flow of nuances the length
and breadth of Verse, in rime or else
cadence where emotions are the driving force.
Ekphrasis tribute to and inspired by F S Flint
You may hear me recite this and most of my PS
Anthology on YouTube under my pen name

Oh patriot angels,
Please sing to me,
Lord Jesus in heaven,
Praise unto Holy Spirit.
Pawns of evil,
Shadow of darkness,
Dont praise to me,
Your dedication to the
Devil.
God of Isreal who is my
Master,
Will lead my soul to
peace,
For I who follow my
Lordship,
Will I be always with Him.
Choose now your
destiny,
Forsake lust and
adultery,
Credit your sins that are
many,
For the overflowing love
of Almighty.
Woe your form of
charity,
Pride and greed shall
come to pass,
But you shall lose
everything,
And your living soul ;He
shall take last !
