mindful of paradise
blest, blooming, blissful

Smelling Delight In the Morning

Grateful to God* for deliverance from anosmia
I praise Him for the pleasant breath of life 
midst jubilant smelling optimization 
oozing with wondrous delights...

On a restful day of redolent vibrancy, my nose is greeted
by minty scent of my special child's shampoo
with citrus body wash along bubble gum-cologne
and refreshing baby powder after his bathing spree...

Oh, I enjoy the aroma of steamed breakfast rice
sizzling barbecue, creamy chicken-vegetable soup
with mango yoghurt while allowing hot chocolate 
to blend with the smell of toasted bun midst peanut butter.

Concluding my morning festive flavorsome meal
my olfactory sense is welcomed by serene balmy room
verily therapeutic as I immerse for writing pursuits
gripped with the lavender fragrance of my own perfume.

Metaphoric Optimisation

I adorn your flesh in trivial words and heat,
The quartz in each brushwork may deplete. 
Ashy blossoms under shattered feet,
In the dusk, inspired by optimization accrete. 

Deep-set violet eyes without a discreet,
Reaching clouds that cover your sight beat. 
Seeking to deprive the tempo of greet,
Illuminating this obstacle isn't defeat.

When your sight is adequate to compete, 
I shall entice you till our bones excrete. 
Betrayals occur during the heat of deceit,
Overwhelmed in combustion entreat. 

Salt from the sea is in tears and downbeat,
Inhaling every color of poetry may reheat. 
I bestow my words to the shells of your feat,
Leaving blurry traces in my vision to meet. 

You are safe and muttered during the retreat,
I am inhaling your irrational fear and heat.
Rose petals satiate voids in the heartbeat.

Better Friends

In a way, 
We are better friends now. 
I laugh at your still meticulous observations... 
Cheaper prices, 
Optimization of costs in a lowly world, 
A pessimistic topic, 
That gets me along the way, following with a turtle speed. 
 
We had close, 
Yet, very hotly debated perceptions of should or shouldn’t 
At the end of the day, 
Our little one, perhaps describes us, as “Mad Cows”, in her secret journal. 
 
I close the doors, 
as this dusk is bringing an end to another twilight saga, 
One more to linger on, for a better dawn that God promised.

I bid farewell, 
Never thoroughly regret there, 
as the need of a sprinkler on the damaged grass is inevitable.

Ever-faithful to Him, aiming for His exaltation.

In the Almighty can my testimony create good impact
