Are we testing open waters?
I never should have stationed there

We were not prepared 
Through the shame and sacrifice,
I was getting there 

All we know is shelter,
Survival, 
Yet we were unprepared 

Mark the way
through tunnels we mistaked for urgent care 

No one’s dying on my watch
If our fathers were here, they’d tell us not to stop

The Crane Operator

Across the river there’s a crane
That’s 30 stories high,
The operator like
A Lego man up in the sky.

As loads are lifted in the air
And gently set in place,
I wish that I could clearly see
That operator’s face.

I know I would be terrified 
But likely, he is not.
I cannot fathom how he even 
Reached that sky-high spot.

Smooth Elevator Operator
I truly am a smooth operator 
When I let one loose in the elevator
If it’s only me there my air blows free
Have got my own detonator you see.

Able to let fly with such immense pride
And can play a fine tune from my backside
That is until others enter the lift
I tell them someone else

Thy Operator Lord

The Operator Lord dwells in thy status, 
With a golden grin after a huge hiatus 
The flute bearer’s philosophical posture, 
Inspires me to compose on His gesture 
The Creator of this universe-expanding 
Benefactor of all pleasures rewarding 
He being thy favorite divinity 
Let me compose with infinite clarity 
The superfect picture of the God supreme

it was late in the evening & on the street
had my body kit waxed on my Camry
fenders had a slasp of silver so did the rims
stero was blasting to my favorite song
Like Michael Jackson & Stevie B
rolled into my neighborhood bar many looked out at my car
I was fixing to put one on slamming

Excuse me operator, 

I think I’ve been disconnected,

To a neurotic world that's seemed to lose its senses,

A ceaseless quest of life questions,

Where are all of these transcending fairytales and esoteric answers?

I am feeling like it’s a foreboding leak of subliminal messages,

Declaring all what life isn’t and it's misleading specifications.
