Onomatopoeic:
caw caw caw
the crow's on my roof
waiting for their breakfast,
chatter chatter
the magpie's call
usually first to the table,
a shrill little tweet
go the sparrow's and their relatives
awaiting their feed
in smaller bites
from the safety of their prickly bush;
the sounds of the morning's
for me
are heaven sent.

Mum
A siren of Oogahs! fills her ears,
But the cream of smile and care splotch her face,
Tells you the loving tutelage she has for years,
Cuddling and snuggling is me the little thing,
As she wraps me and embraces me,
In endless full love string,
Onomatopoeic sirens of my helpless cry,
To you might be a clear bother,
To her is a call-in notification,
To attend to me like an open door,
Mama is the greatest being ever lived to cherish,
Never shall I let her joy to perish,
Thank you, mum.

Wears in her forehead little red Bindya
I give her a candy
She says "uncle Sandy
I must go to Delhi and kiss Scindia".

Almond cookies and French Roast,
a superb treat for a king or Queen;
a glass of Andre' to make a toast,
a torte soaked in Baccardi...cin, cin!*
Sue baked a huge cake, but it looked like coal;
it supposed to be lemon, not chocolate, lol!
Vanilla pudding
done in a few whipping strokes:
chill it, then eat it!
* Italian: onomatopoeic for clinking of glasses
Menaced by a triumphant chanting of lament
Entrancing the soul of Hades’ kin
Missed eruptions of the sensory nerves
Onomatopoeic of hollow gongs
Resonating, maimed through the indescribable facets of
Your forgotten youth.

I'm sipping on a couch-boat in
Van Gogh-painted water.
Bill Evans is dueting his blue-kind
keys with my jolly time ticker.
When my eyes are shut, I think two-dimensional.
I think onomatopoeic.
Fancy that.
Afterall, my generation combines words like
"emotion" and "icon". My generation puts
society on a screen...
Ah, but I suppose the
next will convert the universe into binary,
and leave me behind
with my coffee, and jazz.
The Kookaburra, this terrestrial Kingfisher like bird
With it's onomatopoeic call, laughter in it's world
They inhabit arid savanna's and humid forests so lush
Also suburban to residential, as all around them humans rush
These beautiful birds are sexually dimorphic in their look
Their plumage sometimes differs, but in some your not mistook
The Rufous-bellied, Spangled, Laughing and Blue Winged
Are the four Kookaburra's who chortle as they sing
These beauties from Australia, are carnivorous in their eat
From lizards, snakes, insects and mice, they sure do love their meat
Oh to hear a Kookaburra, in their wild and natural place
Their another of natures joys, that human eyes do grace
