Ode To An Ocelot

Not a lot of ocelots
are seen in the day
they prefer the evening
or the night
if an ocelot you're hot to spot
altho' it's quite a long shot
an ocelot you want to sight
you may even hit the jackpot
if you do it right
all you've really got to do
is switch off the light

Royal Ocelot Island

Raft branch buoyed in canopy crossroad
Ocelot pillow paws rail rainforest rotunda
Yataghan claws trail trunk, track cathode
Assailant arouse pounces, stiff tail rudder
Lithe, while night looms, lightspeed silent

Ogling exotic shores - she yanks anchor
Centipede nimble Queen needs her tiara
    Evermore adorned, baubles bean arabica
Lustrous pearl dozes on dark décolletage
Opulent moon mother of tides, sly tyrant
Tortures subordinates to claim her island

Iridescent iris treasure hunt sailor ocelot
Spotted sea captain keeps snake for halo
Lapis lazuli exclusively steers royal yacht
Asphyxiating prey, Casper crouch lay low
Navigating her way to throne, puss pirate
Drapes cashmere ears in conquest crown

Premium Member An Ocelot Came By

An ocelot came by Mama said.
This surprised me and my brother Ned.
In the Midwest?
An ocelot nest?
The idea filled us both full of dread.

Premium Member Easter Ocelot

I postulate ocelots
as proselytes for chocolate:
they’d get word out on the dot;
they’re easy to spot.

And I’d tell a parable
or something comparable,
with a nugget of caramel
to be retold a lot.

Earth brown exterior:
clearly superior;
heavenly interior,
delicious and gold.

Here comes Sir Lancelot,
riding his ocelot.
Yeah, sure, it costs a lot,
but aren’t you sold?

Premium Member Ocelot At Twelve

There is an ocelot at twelve o’clock
I did not bother to get out my Glock.
Was eaten fast
All but my cast
Thanks to the lying wolf-crier on the block

Ocelot

Ocelot ocelot
Doesn’t like to swim a lot
If you poke its face
It would probably blast you into space
