Premium MemberMy poppa's prank

I'd sit on his lap, content as can be,
until he'd slide those dentures out
and giggle with glee..
My two year old self would reach out
to grab, he'd suck them back in
before I could nab..
With time as I began to age his
talented teeth ceased to amaze.
No longer two and as wide-eyed,
I'd yell "stupid Poppa" and
from his lap slide..

Representative Jamaal Bowman sets off a fire alarm in the House Chamber
     rips down the 'Emergency' signs
        heads for the hills
Doesn't apologize 'til the police nab him ... then AOC whines
        'Jamaal was confused'

A clearcut case of 'white privilege' turned on its head
Even KINDERGARTENERS know not to pull an alarm that's red!
Perhaps Jamaal never attended elementary school
While AOC thinks she can play us all for fools

Premium MemberAway In the Garden

Away in the garden
No plants are ill fed
The soil is perfect
In all the raised beds

The fencing surrounds
All of the plants
But something burrowed
Who invited the ants

There’s chewing and clipping
At night while I rest
Just wait til’ I get
My hands on that pest

I fired the shotgun
To nab me a bun
Don’t mess with my garden
Run rabbit run

Fantastic Words

A closer look at a fantastic word
And no, I’m not talking in bafflegab
To not repeat this speak is just absurd

To absquatulate like a fracas herd
Throw a foofaraw over a little jab
A closer look at a fantastic word

A uni-brow is a glabella furred
And whirligigs hung too slapdash to grab
To not repeat this speak is just absurd

Scuttlebutt schlepped to sassafras by bird
Skedaddle from a skirmish of stone crab
A closer look at a fantastic word

A quibble over razzmatazz occurred
Doohickey from a lummox, easy nab
To not repeat this speak is just absurd

So scrumdiddlyumptious I may have slurred
Like tintinnabulation, it’s not drab
A closer look at a fantastic word
To not repeat this speak is just absurd

Premium MemberKittenish

Some girls with the guys act like a kitten.
They know instinctively just what to do.
Soon enough, the guy will be quite smitten.
This method even now is tried and true.

The goddess known as Marilyn Monroe
knew well this kittenish alluring ploy.
Playboy bunnies know it like a pro.
Though naughty and flirtatious, they are coy.

It’s easier for women who are pretty,
but plain girls too can nab themselves a guy.
Use cosmetics. Then be like a kitty -
sweet, fun, and playful – giving them the eye.

Men might be dogs, but just remember that
the dog is always bound to chase the cat!

he panted heavily
muscles twitching in his naked body
running frenzied, without looking back,
he shouted, “He is after me.... my life”
a rip roaring cry....!

the traffic halted
pedestrians stopped
people from shops came out
women through curtained windows peeped
children stopped their play

“so drunk”.... a man murmured
“A crack”.... someone shouted
“coming right after an orgy”
sneered, an oldie...
“pity on him...! Take him to an asylum”
one gentleman suggested.
he needs help, majority opined
‘nab this plague’, the moral police quipped

what is he running from...?

an assailant....?
corona virus....?
his own phantom...?
two sane men staying,
at a corner wondered.
they had masks on their face
“must be a health worker”..!
one of them said...
“yes, the subtle nuances of a cracked mind”
the other agreed!

as the scene on the road,
had grown into a high voltage drama,
dissensions grew and multiplied!

Torturers Go For Victim

They had for him come in a cab:
Mister Sabinus for short, Sab,
A guy with the gift of the gab
To receive wounds or the wounds grab...

If only he'd leave fast - A Crab!
He'd prevent what handkerchiefs dab,
His movements had often been drab,
For which reasons they could him nab
And over hand him to Wahab...

Luckless chap for Torturer's Lab,
For boxer's blows and waiting swab;
They shall this celebrate with tab.
No god greater than their Wahab...

More and more sweat on Sab's poor neck,
On a spot imaging the wreck:
"Scream after ascending a deck:
I did not a woman's cheek peck;
Men need to know who's being tortured
Plus the guys who had it nurtured".

Worms All Mixed With Flowers

One day with my own self, such peaceful hours
The inner seas make music as they roll
And in the ground the worms air roots of flowers

The rain comes down in cold but gentle showers
Desiring to give moisture to all souls
A symbol of the value of quiet hours

In Northern hills we looked for Durham owls
They hunt by day to keep their bodies whole
While in the ground the worms air roots of flowers

My loved one was a native of those towers
Highcliff Nab and Hasty Bank called home
My days with him a-wandering there for hours

As he died , deep in my heart I howled
I held his hands, remembered , paid the toll
While in the ground the worms digest the sour

Lying in the heather we had roamed
May God have mercy on his homing soul
Now I enjoy in reverie our hours
Deep in the ground the worms drowse mixed with flowers

Kind To a Lesbian Sir Fabian

He is Sir Fabulous Fabian
Supporting a neighbor lesbian,
Whose name is either Miss Bibian
Or one that sounds much like Vivian;
Would by the neck her haters grab
And force them to board a fast cab…

I had my firm question for Fab:
“if he would butcher on a slab,
Who with charcoal lesbian’s face dab”
“No! I should like robbers them nab
And treat them like a novel drab!”

I feared Fabian could do much worse
That might at last warrant A Nurse!
So different from fellow knight
Protecting Miss Bibian all night
Kind to lesbian Sir Fabian,
She would say in French ‘Tres Bien.’

“Daisy Hill”
a garden to please
distant, yet ever near
         in splendid hue.
Yet here now
the chill of winter’s
wrath, which initiates
            spirited breath.
Tenderness
upon the bypass where,
memory does walk
        through days gone by.
“Manor Garth”
place of sorcery
speculator, astute
        evil and wry.
Industry
without face without
grace, a mechanical
            tragedy here.
A shop floor
for humanity
searching, if only to
             plead sanity.
Amber leaves
rattle the naked highway,
like windswept flocks from
            mountains high.
Dry stone walls
history riddled shout,
along country roads
            and velvet sky.
“Cuckoo Nest”
guardian of the moorside,
stone walls devoid
            living blood wilt.
Millstones prise
out a condolence yet,
parched with canopy in
            “Nab wood” Built.
Rock’n’Roll
ricochets upon
“Chelker” A mind in tune
             harmony wise.
Bicycle
breaks the silence of night,
before rolling clouds
            will the sunrise.

Hello Mr

Hello Mr can you read me?
You think you can nab me
Shall we talk off the record?
You have found out my pattern
Buddy,I was too careless once
Fella you have a habit of hiding
You are watching my every step
You will go to any length...
Note.Don't breed your creed.

Premium MemberA Habit To Nab It

A hound-dog I know had quite a habit
Of chasing every skirt 'til he'd nab it
   He joined a fox-hunt
   Then let out a grunt
Instead of a fox, he caught a rabbit

Smash and Grab

Loot and nab.
Did your parents tell you, it is Ok to grab?

Stash and run.
Who taught you stealing is fun?

Job by mob.
Never had a job, for you I sob.

Crash the glass.
What care you, about the owner’s cash?

In and run out.
You sin and with joy, smile and shout.

In jails, you belong.
Lights out early and no late night songs
