A whirlwind of chaos, a joyful loud-sound,
Three wild spirits I love, on adventurous ground.
Fourteen, then twelve, and the youngest, a seven,
Bringing antics and charm, a small piece of heaven.
They build with their LEGOs, grand dreams in the air,
Fortresses, spaceships, beyond all compare.
Then out to the yard, where their sports battles rage,
I'm there in the stands, for each thrilling new stage.
My cheers ring out loudly, my voice strong and clear.
A beacon of love, dispelling all fear.
In the pool we all splash, on a hot summer day,
I'm caught in their currents of boisterous play.
The fighting erupts, a familiar refrain,
And I'll admit, sometimes, it drives me insane.
But a part of me grins, though I might roll my eyes,
Their bold, mouthy spirit, a delightful surprise.
For though they are noisy, and mischievous too,
And every day brings something wonderfully new,
I'm there for their plays, and their triumphs, and strife,
My nephews, my niece, the true joy of my life.

Mall Fountain flows, bubbles in mouthy foam,
colorless coloring of a mood therein, roams
Moniker sigel flavors of the day to go with my coffee, tip tip cup, aaah, swallow, gush, rush of
galavanting display, Victoria's Secret
Pushup bra pushing Angels of Morphine drip
in my mind's filthy blackboard film strip
Piping in, a Food Court
Of my mind
(FYE) and mine
(Pipe in mouth) like a ClassE Professor
Hot Topic's,
Bed, Bath & Beyond, my capacity
Walking Adverts, seasonal signs
Perfumed breeze, passing by the escape rooms, whoooshed to please,
aligned with what's in store to find
I am like a kid in a CandyStore, (Sees)
"God's VelveStein Rabbits",
holding themselves out as carrots
with juice of carotene
[Salivating like cartoon wolf in meme]
Here comes the
"Last Man Left in the Amazon",
agained-themed daydream
So, I am a Man Pig
Standing by Spencers' Gifts, ...to me
"Sue me, sue me"
~(Supertroopers)
P.S. ( O i'm mostly kidding)

Santa’s workshop was full of singers of every kind of voice.
The loudest one that sounded like gravel was my cousin Joyce.
She was wrapping and humming, and they all sang along.
We are in the best holiday mood! Said the happy elf throng.
They are off key a listening robin said as he stopped to peek.
We don’t care, it is unity, peace, love and harmony we seek!
The robin left, and a heavenly messenger, a red cardinal flew in
Let’s take it from the top, he said. Your voices are all a win!

Aged eighteen and three quarters
Six feet one inches tall,
Typical mouthy teenager
Who thought he knew it all.
At least twenty years older
A woman close to her prime
Laughs lightly at his offer
To show her a good time.
Three drinks and three hours later
She took him to her bed
Saying now come on then
And give me what you said.
Then, she used him, abused him
Gave him a long lesson in style
Deposed him, exposed him
As an inexperienced love juvenile.
Restrained him and trained him
Showed him how to share
To make tender love with
Compassion and care.
Tired him, hard wired him
Set his body on fire
Teased him, released him
Shared his desire.
Six hours later, both red eyed
From lack of rest
She told him with pleasure
Now you’ve passed the test.
She dropped him quite close
To his base camp gate
Just to ensure he wasn’t
Back on duty late,
Gently resisted his request
To see her once more,
Told him, with a kiss
To go out and explore.
Aged eighteen and three quarters
Six feet one inches tall,
Not quite so mouthy teen who now
Knew he really never did know it all.

Beware the tenderness of anyone’s toes
Especially that of your friends and foes,
For pain, they say, is its own reward
Can be magnified with additional woes.
Carefully measure your daily deplored
Consider exactly what you can afford,
Wise to keep in mind the old, old saying
A pen is mightier than the sharpest sword.
Eschew the obnoxious mouthy braying
Think about those words you are saying,
Not easily embracing mundane compliance
Your time better spent in earnest praying.
Be skeptical of those who seek alliance
For they have capacity to offer defiance,
For your actions they do not think right
When you are seeking a friendly reliance.
Be aware, my friend, of every slight
Keep both friends and enemies in sight,
And walk your own paths in caution
Especially when strolling in darkest night.

A walk around the block in my parents’ neighborhood at dawn
wearing mom’s sweater and pop's sneakers with a clown hole cut out for
toe infection
I was stopped by a cop in a cruiser
this was during the Vietnam War long hair ago
he was angry at everyone I was offended by everything
he said which way are you going I said which way are you going
so he socked me in the mouth and handcuffed me
I was arraigned on disorderly conduct and resisting arrest
my good parents came down and stood beside me before the judge
I wrote to the police department internal affairs
not for retribution but to start a paper trail
in case this cop someday bopped one of my brothers
a few months later I’m back at work in NYC
two detectives come into the city to question me
one good cop one bad cop we park in the park me in the back seat
they wanna know was I mouthy to the cop who punched me in the mouth
long story short
they leave me on a bench to eat my lunch and the charges are dropped

1982, Boston, a Bar with regulars like Norm and Cliff.
In breezes a chatty stuck up blonde, her attitude quite stiff.
Sam comes out from the back room and tries to help her cope.
She’s apparently been jilted by some guy, a serious dope.
Carla comes in and puts tension and banter into the air.
She’s the mouthy waitress whose words slice without care.
Gershon sits in the corner, writing his poems in a frantic way.
He has had a crazy epiphany, ending in a writing mood day.
Five hundred awards he says, quietly, under his breath.
He is writing for a contest held by a poet named Seth.
Five hundred awards, he thinks, glad to be in this booth.
Of course to brag and boast would seem truly uncouth.
And since he is gallant, and a hero to this poem right now.
Let’s just say he enjoyed Cheers, a bar with a bit of “wow”.
He took notes about Cliff, Norm, and Diane, Carla of course too.
Appearances of Rebecca, Woody and Frasier are long overdue.

Living wild and free
raisin' hell
them and me
Just blazing trails
Rough and rowdy
causin' trouble
Getting mouthy
seeing double
We had
no destination, no explanation
no second guessing, without question
along for the ride, we were do or die
yeah that was me
And these kids I once knew
We were crazy and reckless
raisin' cain
Bold and fearless
So insane
Young and witty
breakin' rules
tough and gritty
Skippin' school
Cause' there was
no destination, no explanation
no second guessing, without question
along for the ride, we were do or die
yeah that was me
And these kids I once knew
Looking back, I thought it'd last forever
life takes off, before ya know it
years gone by, don't ya know it
Close my eyes and see that motley crew
yeah, me and these kids I once knew
Cause' there was
no destination, no explanation
no second guessing, without question
along for the ride, we were do or die
yeah that was me
And these kids I once knew

BRIGHTNESS
Poets, be assured,
I don't desire all the sun,
a crack is enough ...
WARMTH
If the bed feels
empty without you,
me, further ...
CLARITY
Let the lamp turn off,
the lamp, the torch ...
Not the day ...
SUN
In the afternoon, the sun doesn't die ...
simply rest its light
with the moon ...
F L O W E R
Out of season,
any field flower
feels rose ...
HIGHWAY
On motorways,
cars don’t pass,
autos fly ...
TRAFFIC
In stopped traffic
people scream,
horns speak ...
MOUTHY
My almost friend,
my life is simple, short,
your tongue is feline, long ...

Yes I eat meat,
I'm not a vegan; nor
vegetarian ... is it !?
I have pills,
I'm not a homeopath ...
Okay, but I'm healthy!
If I don't get excited (easily)
and I don't exercise ...
they call me blasé, sedentary !?
Well at the right measure I'm fine ...
If I eat little,
am anorexic !?
I drink a lot,
do i belong to AAA?
If the world locks up,
it's not my fault...
If I say little, they tell me
closed, airtight ...
If I talk too much, I am
talkative, mouthy ..!?
Ah! stop it...
live your lives,
do action ...!

Here we go stroke the dog.
Kiss the girl, slowly and sensually.
Drive the car, avoid the cops.
Drink the beer and then some more.
Avoid drugs and mouthy idiots.
Fight like a king only when cornered.
Defend the right to live your life.
Be one step past happiness and remember.
Remember your parents, make them proud.

Don't stand by me,
if you're going to be mouthy
and doubt me,
go back and respect my boundary,
your septic perspective and negative pictures will be deflected from my eyes and ears,
reject through control, selective subjective inspections of your lies, so clear,
I don't need to see photo's for truths,
when dealing with bozo brain youths,
I wont be bullied on the ground and crying to your sly,
I'm the bullet to impound and leave you dying, am I.

My Great Great Aunt Prissy had a magical dog.
She never needed friends but she did have a blog.
Her acquaintances were thrilled with her pix
Of a talking dog with costumes so thick
She would put hilarious captions under the blog
Stating the words came from her magical dog
A border collie with a mad sense of humor
We all laughed, thinking she had a brain tumor
My Great Great Aunt Prissy made her dog famous.
When she passed we fought over who got her dog Amos
By then he was up to six million hits every day
Advertisers were eager to throw money his way
I drew the long straw and took Amos home gladly
He was mouthy, a diva, and spoke his voice gladly.
A magical dog loving his own fans and gobs of hype
He is standing over me now watching me type
Criticizing my English, correcting my grammar.
Laughing at my mistakes in a belligerent manner.
Great Aunt Prissy’s sassy confident magical dog
No longer has a following, friends or a blog.
