One Year of You, Melissa

One Year of You, Melissa

One year ago, the stars began,
And heaven said, "She is mine."
A small spark, a breath so new,
The world was brighter all for you.

Your giggles flower like morning sun,
Your eyes, two stars that brightly shine.
Each step you take, each sound you make,
Turns average days awake.

You've taught us love in its pure form,
In warm fingers and sleepy sighs.
One smile, a coo so soft,
The world seems new with you.

We have witnessed you grow, in wonder, in awe,
Each step taken in love and law.
From lullabies to weeping whines,
You've filled our hearts, you've filled our skies.

Here's to you, our birthday star,
Our miracle, just as you are.
May grace and happiness be with you,
With oceans broad dreams to chase.

A single candle today, but, oh, the flame
It shines hope, it whispers your name.
Happy birthday, little dove,
You are our world, our limitless love.

A miracle in my arms

A Miracle in Your Smile

In the quiet hush of a hopeful dawn,
You arrived with whispers of wonder,
A tiny heartbeat, a promise reborn
My second child, my awe and thunder.

You showed me how dreams take flight
In the cradle of your gentle sighs.
A second chance at a love so bright,
A miracle wrapped in lullabies.

Tiny fingers, perfect and small,
Your first laugh echoed, a sacred song.
You taught me that faith can heal it all,
That miracles dwell where hearts belong.

Each breath you take, a testament true,
A precious gift I never knew
Could shine so brightly in one so new
A light of hope that guides me through.

So here you are, my gentle spark,
Proof that prayers are never in vain.
My second born, you lit the dark
A miracle’s touch, forever mine to gain.

Premium MemberBorn Twice in Blood

I gave you a daughter
To have and to hold
I gave you her gently
More precious than gold

I stitched her together
And formed her with care
Created her lovely
Then born to me bare

Was bare as a baby
I held her to me
Then she upturned her gaze
Looked sweetly at me

	You gave me no child
But something unfinished
Deformed and ugly
So twisted and blemished

Creature of sorrow
I’d spare you the image
All blackened and shadowed
Reflecting your visage

You moulded it thus
Concocted its nature
Then expected me
To cherish and nurture?

	Despicable steward!
You hurt my daughter
Distorted her image
And raised her for slaughter.

Despising my glory
Dismissing her worth
Her face my reflection,
The salt of the earth

Revise your destruction
Bring her to water
Where her soul pants for me
Drink up, my daughter.

	Returned to me, my child
Now forever mine
Born again in my blood
Sweet fountains of wine.

What is the tiddy twister

Lets be really clear
A crystal clear plan to get near the man
Just Follow the titty twister
Just follow the hooha hurriCAN
Follow as sure as you stand
On two feet we dominate
On two knees we congregate
With a Gang of my precious baby friends in my face
In the foot race in the first race
I place fate on a sure thing
On the street the heat sits
On 4 wheels at least
So many more wheels on the beast
What is the HooHa HurriCAN
What is the titty twister
She looks just like your sister
And your best friends sister too
A really big sister crew full of sister
We knock on a 454
We ball on cams and lifters
Positraction on the main attraction
Attracted the sister
We are twisted insane and laughing
Were twisted insane and laughing
Even though the girls got me trapped
in I keep ing rappin

Beloved Miracle

Tiny miracle of hope
 Extraordinary blessings
Smallest dream, how great the love .
To start the pitter- pat of your clock.
How great the shock, when you are gone.
How rare the grief the roar of the pain
  And then,
With luck, to be blessed again to have, to hold,
  To give, to share,
To dare the rocks and the waves again.
To swim " until " you can no more,to cry out
In the dark with ' longing ' , bigger than the sky.
Whisper softly bringing near hope, the gentler.
Spirits hear long wait, dark night
Never dare to breathe until tiny fingers
Pluck your sleeve and a touchyour heart
    With gold
    Never to late
     To dark
    To have a child
     To hold, miracle of life
    Precious moments
Off them all, aching Whisper anguished call.

Witch Baby

They make the phone ring
They look at it.
It rings
Things appear
Things disappear
As they will it

I'm going to be like that
Someday
And I'm going to learn to fly
No lard of swine
No spleen of snake
Yet a wish- impelled flying machine
My body I'll make

Alone
Into the mouth of my Beloved
I will fly
Into the air
The cloud
The face
The wind
I will fly
Baby witch.

Miracle of Life

With a bang
that rivals the creation
of the universe

cells start growing,
multiplying
forming
molding, shaping
changing
and becoming…

a soul
a purpose
a life
an understanding

living
surviving
thriving
hearing,
heart pumping,
feet and hands moving…

Two months down and seven to go
too late for second guessing

Premium MemberThe Dogwood Flower

I was a youngster when my sight began to realize,
When I viewed a tree of flowers that grew across the road.
Whereas this time of beauty was forming within my eyes,
Where the shapes and lines are made from the clay that memories mold.

A flower on the tree branch seemed to bloom before my sight.
Sacred bloom was a symbol of where Jesus had been nailed,
The central color brown in midst of petals of pure white.
Yet, my eyes saw baby Jesus; and my soul had been unveiled.

Little Miracle

Inside
Warm, dark silence,
A new soul is stirring—
A growing dream made real through hope
And love.

Every ten to fifteen years the Mojave Desert will produce a “super bloom” after heavy autumn rains. The desert and hills are covered with poppies, popcorn flowers, lupine, baby-blue-eyes, bluebells, sunflowers.

Life

A new conception

Two mammals form a pair bond
The basis for monogamy

Friction against a membrane
Producing a sensation
Stimulation leading to a release

Contractions propel cells into tubes
Searching for fusion before they die
An ovum is penetrated
And fertilisation begins

Developing over a period of months
A heart begins to beat
Vibrations of sound can be heard
Footprints and fingerprints form
Eyes can open and close

A water breaking
Signals the start of labour
A dilation reveals an opening
The canal of birth
A mother connected to a child by a cord
Pushing to deliver, the miracle of life

Premium MemberA Baby Is a Bundle

A baby is a bundle of jangling receptors
    a limb-wiggling curiosity machine
Equipped to record and retain every sensation
    with nodes and neurons labyrinthine

We watch her nap and feed
pray she gets the sleep she needs
While deep inside her, a learning explosion
moves mighty mountains, fills vast oceans

Premium MemberJoyful

One miscarriage too many;

              Blessed with miracle baby.

A mother beyond joyful.

              Her prayers answered.
