Join us in our year-round merriment
Blest by God for great life enjoyment
Toward exploration-wonderment
As children, learning with excitement!
January allows us to start gladly
February greets our hearts so brightly
March moves up our steps forward strongly
April shakes our hands to share kindly!
We keep ourselves great with May sunshine
Doing well in June… feeling mighty fine
Always hopeful midst July time line
Healthy during August while we dine!
September-love remains radiant
October-peace prevails, triumphant
November-cheers stay vibrant
December-thanks do reign jubilant!
As children, learning with excitement
Toward exploration-wonderment
Blest by God for great life enjoyment
Join us in our year-round merriment!

Like unfolding tents the clouds roll cold
As drifting snowflakes cover our road
We traipse with icy crunch keeping pace
Through cascading dusk the sun hides its face
Where the winter owl knows the silence of deer
We venture home to a hearth of good cheer
Where our voices will lift from the serenity outside
As the smell of chestnuts and cider abide
We sing and laugh with joy and goodness
Filled to the brim with merriment and gladness
As our hearts swell to the fire’s blaze
On this silent night of such loving grace
Frolicking freely through forest so green
I muse at creatures flitting around me.
To no other human can they be seen;
Their magical mischief is so carefree.
They twinkle and flit with laughter and glee.
Excitement and fancy have brought me here,
Carefree and joyful, my eyes start to tear.
I wish for this feeling never to end,
But I know the end of this life is near
For the forest, now black is quiet--dead.

Laughing and giggling into the night
Whispering enchantment so alive
Calling to the moon, so vivid and bright
Souls are sure to find how to revive
Whispering enchantment so alive
Melody of joy caressing gentle hearts
Souls are sure to find how to revive
Loving so thrilled with hope it imparts
Melody of joy caressing gentle hearts
Merriment embraces so rich and strong
Loving so thrilled with hope it imparts
Creating memories that last all lifelong
Merriment embraces so rich and strong
Calling to the moon, so vivid and bright
Creating memories that last all lifelong
Laughing and giggling into the night

Christmas spirit will prevail with blest merriment
Since its Author – CHRIST – is sovereign every moment
Thus, the occasion’s worthy jubilant sentiment
Should be dominant midst pandemic-caused curtailment.
Christmas will reign, though bereft of Santa Claus’ involvement
Through God’s love and bliss --- propping giving and caring enjoyment
Overcoming selfishness and pride’s enslavement
Reaching-out gladly with prayer-empowerment.
Thankful* for Christmas’ meaningful fulfillment
We exalt the Lord with praise, worship and faith sentiment
Confessing discontentment with humble abasement
Sharing His gift of life eternal along grace-mercy’s testament.
*Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Love to laugh and make others laugh too
Unbridled merriment is foremost in my zoo
Nothing's changed
My brain's still strange
Not responsible for my wobbly loose screw
Love to laugh and make others laugh too
Unbridled merriment is foremost in my zoo
Nothing's changed
My brain's still strange
Not responsible for my wobbly loose screw
Love to laugh and make others laugh too
Unbridled merriment is foremost in my zoo
Nothing's changed
My brain's still strange
Not responsible for my wobbly loose screw
Love to laugh and make others laugh too
Unbridled merriment is foremost in my zoo
Nothing's changed
My brain's still strange
Not responsible for my wobbly loose screw
Always loved to laugh and make others laugh too
Unbridled merriment was utmost in my personal zoo
Nothing's changed
My brain's quite strange
Not responsible for my wobbly loose screw
From a luminescent skyscape, I gaze below
Where metronome's pulse rushes on.... never slow
The city lights display an evening, all aglow
As festive mood along side-streets bounce to and fro:
In a tavern, women prance with an overflow
Of live music as laced hems flutter---what a show!
Pitched voices from cafe aisles hit a tremolo
Like boomerang of laughter’s spray, fun hours row
When gaiety warms Friday with red of Merlot:
That nigh breezes act as crooners to tunes they know
Igniting toil's break from weariness to hello...
For merriment links all kinship and makes joys grow!

Snowflakes falling, falling all night
My pine tree adorned, now illuminating under snow
I brush and brush off, unveiling Christmas twinkling lights
Giving the white ground a colorful glow
An appearance of a Hallmark card, I must say
My children gather around the tree in merriment
Then one by one they form fluffy snowballs
Laughing mischievously they begin to throw them at me
Well you can guess what happens next
Yep, before I was done they are covered in white
Red face and cold we all go indoors for the night
In front of the fireplace tired, beginning to warm
We look at each other and started to grin
Deep belly-laughs replaces the grins
You can't have enough of a good thing
