eyes dazed by magenta blaze
skin torn by piercing thorn
blood drop tickles zinc hole in morn
she knows her season is done
a petaling head will droop under afternoon’s Sun
abundance is a prime piano note
•¥¥•
frugal the piano notes sound
her head erect at midday
her season embraces her
with blood bleeding through as blush
her skin translucent calls
magenta gaze closes lids

A hot pink that is vibrant and bright
A showstopper in bright light
A whimsical and magical vibrant sunset
With a fiery mix of pink and purple hues
A warm summer breeze with floral scents infused
A taste of sweetness from a fresh plum fruit
Remarkable as a rare sapphire gem in pursuit
A beautiful and delicate summer bloom
A vivid presence that stands out in a room

Eastward toward the creek; sunrise
aglow, casting magenta clouds.
Tonight's sunset will be our prize
Eastward toward the creek sunrise
A new day away from the crowds
Where the birds sing and there's no ais
Eastward toward the creek; sunrise
aglow, casting magenta clouds.

I try and try to read long poems
But then I find if it carries on
I daydream or lose focus
A.D.D. does hocus-pocus
I try and try to stick to a plan
But find myself wondering and
Traveling roads less than ideal
Who’s to know if it’s worth thrill
I try and try to use my muse
But in time I become her fool
For she leaves me in a block
My writing has been ruined stopped
You can tell this when you read
My words lack a certain quality
And it like a babbling baby blurts
Drooling in ink on paper as works
I suppose I still find peace
Even in mundane writing
I hope to write something great
To make a difference in a literary way

Sunrise majestic, vivid bursts of magenta
and pink streaks of sunset present a dilemma
as to which of the two inspires me more
the promise of daybreak or moonlit night’s shore
Yet I can’t sit here and plumb the depths of this question
lest sun’s promise fade ~
and clouds mar the night in rapid succession

The clouds hold our intimacy forever
At nightfall we sparkle in splendour
Reflections, in magenta to remember

First blush fountain azimuth of hued rays
wet patio shrub basket in the haze
zealous heartland tower cry as life force
celebrate and savour August rare days
Magenta skylines cluster silken clouds
blue ocean colour eyes that worship shrouds
a fancy surreal canvass so divine
it mesmerises jubilant bright crowds
Summer fun arcades stoke our dream world mind
gasps of red tint bliss a peak season find
earthbound poise dilates refulgent cascade
rocking beach tune fare blurs dark strain purblind
Sapphire plinths that anchor stoic ambit
vision on parade my high rise gambit
traipse amid the dahlia euphoric
seventh heaven rapture’s cloud nine orbit

As the early sun rises casting
Magenta upon the clouds
My heart's cherished enterprise
Is to feel the moment and be proud
The roosters crow down in the vale
Cindy meows close at hand
A grayness has settled 'pon the sky
Please don't in my heart land
Songbirds sing a soft sweet tune
They're still close and in demand
Do they know that cooler air is near?
Does God's plan they understand?
They don't worry nor do they fret
Each day there are bugs to fill
An empty stomach doesn't lack
Mankind has other needs so real
Mankind needs a relationship
Out of this world's busy life
A spiritual and emotional filling
One not based on human strife
The sun shines once again casting its
Illumination upon
Those dark clouds fluffy charcoal design
Wait, release raindrops, move on

I stop to look more closely at the scene.
So balanced and naturally created just so.
All-day long I am mesmerized by the view.
Paintings by masters, with their deft strokes.
There is no insignificance concerning rainbows.
But ask anyone just who can own the sunrise?
Only those who wake and only for a minute.
And the colors are solemn and sensational.
Without words, it tells the story of the creation.
How beauty was discovered and it was valuable.
How it could be comfortable or even terrifying.
But even better and more important is kindness.
One must become courageous and competent.
To expound kindness rather than being mean.
Do unto others before they do unto you they say.
Or get revenge by doing unto as many as you can.
A prison as such needs no bars for there is no escape.
But there is something that is known as an oath.
It is a promise to others and to oneself to act right.
Not once in a while but to act right every single time.
Then one would look at the world and say, "beautiful!".
And the world would look back with a shy little smile.

An island
Surrounded by the sea
A gentle breeze
Drifting in along the coast
Two young lovers
Walking on the beach
An idyllic paradise,
And love's ancient philosophy
Is still alive
On the fabled island
Of Stone Magenta.

Magenta
To love and not be loved
is the saddest feeling I know
yet I know it well.
Am I condemned
to wandering through
some lonely abyss?
Lonely as Hell.
Dreams are for dreamers
and although some dreams do persist
I don't want to dream them alone
I am a realist.
Realizing my heart.
To love and not be loved
the world takes on a magenta haze
the color of my loneliness
becoming a magenta blaze.
I, myself,
magenta enflamed.
Nothing of the Madonna
nothing to capture the eye.
Rejected, dejected,
in a lonely cavern of emotion,
beneath magenta skies.
