Vivid Bursts of Magenta
Sunrise majestic, vivid bursts of magenta
and pink streaks of sunset present a dilemma
as to which of the two inspires me more
the promise of daybreak or moonlit night’s shore
Yet I can’t sit here and plumb the depths of this question
lest sun’s promise fade ~
and clouds mar the night in rapid succession
