Lye Poems | Examples

AKA

Bare bear Bayer
A naked big pharma omnivore
Covered in hair

Soul sole Seoul
The bottom of a Korean spirit’s foot
Out for a stroll

Right write rite
A well-prepared nuptial sermon
Gripping but light

Si see sea
Affirmatively spying the ocean waves
Pleasant and free

Lye lie lai
A burning falsehood sung in style
I must ask why

Seen seine scene
The visualized setting of a fisherman’s netting
Trawler’s routine

Pare pair pear
Trimming a duo of summer fruit
Sweet treat to share

Von der lye-ing says there is a beast.'
Snarly and growly, its out in the east.'
quyeer and macron; rutter complain
All un-masked' their con-vid lies well slain!
Even bread is bugged, this report is the least!

An angels face

The moons awake
I lye at night and stare out to the sky
A tear that falls
Expresses all that hides behind my eyes
An angels face
Another place
As you dream I often gaze
This love we share, unspoken care
Has helped to make me brave
Sometimes lost my soul is found
Within your trust and guidance
Your always there to make aware
The strength of loves reliance
Some crazy times I look to find
How we ever made it through
It must be fate that brought me here
To spend my life with you

tracks

Belief only comforts the fool
wondering is a tool
Everybody's going round in
cycles
never settling down
with someone
They are at once all lye
and drowned
ringing for a chance
penchantly they rob
themselves of honour
digging a hole
to cover their tracks

Premium MemberWish Upon A Cay

I've always wished
to live on an island.
No problem with sacrificing
deceit and shallow dialogue
for the song of gull and sanity
bowls of lye and cold
for pans of warmth
the soothing sand
The details to be worked
at a later date.

Older now, I can see the dream
emerging from the waves.
my winged circle shrinks to a point of decay
love fades and hope shuffles away.

Careful what you wish for old man
a wish may blossom into a grave.

Laziness
(hand up or hand out)
Miracle Man
11/1/2024

Those always bathing in entitlements pool,
will awake each morning, lazy, and unclean.
Which brings back thoughts of older times and lye soap,
Neither is conducive to a good lather.

Premium Membertime Traveler Mr Cy

lovely time traveler came by
did not recognize greeting “hi”
understanding with his third eye
tried to give us a real try

conveyed his name was Mister Cy
of this age he kept asking “why?”
assigned his chores to another guy
could not grasp concept of hair dye

spoke with beeps, never said goodbye
evaporated in green lye
me oh my oh and my oh my
I hope to again see our friend Cy

Yours

You are the reason I lye here awake
Thinking of the things from you I’d take

Your humming and even your sighs
Owning your beauty that comforts my eyes

Your touch of your loving hands
Without my asking or of command

Your voice saying “I love you to”
After my confession of love to you

Your ears listening to my replies
Of each thing you say each time you cry

Your presence sitting by my side
The source of my being filled with pride

Your thoughts the reason I’m alive
Of our being together and being one life

Premium MemberWhat is Kneaded

Knead the mind with prayer and reflection
no need to bring in outside deflections.
What you need is already there...
God shined the synapses
lay gold leaf atop gray canyons
where the potential of miracles lie.
It will take at least a lifetime
to realize that petals of tranquility and truth
can survive the most vicious fire.

Deep in the briars of doubt
within the muck of the mind
dust devil's like to tease
weaving petals to the lye.

Gather up the pristine petals pronto
before they wain-wither- petrify.
Make fantastic arrangements with God.
Be as a ruby throated hummingbird
traversing crystal time-sipping the nectar of divine.
For what is Kneaded in prayer, becomes what is truly needed within your precious life.

Premium MemberThe Mercy of Amber

When death said "Hello", a chest was opened wide.
A serpent sashayed in, toward a heart and its gloaming.
Spitting black pinballs between the brain and soul.
A flock of night biters moved into sanities narrows...
I pulled a little amber cross from mahogany shadows.
Praying with the might of storms, to a God just out of sight,
to free the mind from the pit viper pissing out lye.

Two seasons have past, all but a half pinball have left.
The mercy of amber has filled the crack in the chest.
The movement of moments is the only constant...
Death is so unabashedly, timeless - arrogant.

when the sun again do rise

O when the sun again do rise,
    ‘nd you with emerald eyes,
think not, of me, in ways kind; nah!!!
greet me as in throes; heeded greed perch’d
    awin’ lecherous pine,
dip me amid rude imaginings, vile; yet fine.
think me ogre vying funsy peachy hind, or pig,
scoundrel even, lathering sweet pinkish chime.

O when the sun again do rise,
‘nd the sky had yet to surmise,
before the clock boom a cry, not in vague lye
nor spurn form’d pulsating stalk.
not in wholesome gown be robed; jazz-up racy talk.

if ne’er, do, when heat fills the bust,
    unfettered lust dine, thus,
does truth of bliss cum, midst the two of us?

O when the sun again do rise,
‘nd you with emerald eyes, oh let’s not do find
exhaustion’s unclothed musk odd to us.

Premium MemberWhite Jackets and Candy Dishes

They offer no rope nor traction.
Following a prolonged icy tongue-blast
a slow slide into the greasy crevasse
where lie, soul stiffening white jackets.

There seems to be infinite oceans of infinite critics-
vast deserts without an oasis of empathy.
Powers that be will steal the last of the cherries
leaving mountains of bluish pits and pluming death.

Drunk clowns are juggling our happiness
squirting flowers filled with ink and lye
to cloak the last bastions of gilded sanity
and poison all the goodness in our lives.

So, what are the children of silence to do?
Sit in their blackness and lick a sticky candy dish...
Surrender the ghost of a million, to a appease a few.
or come out swinging in the light-with fiery fists.

Premium MemberSteal The World

            allow me to steal
     the world instead of giving
              it away, I lye
    here on distantly dry stones
    and not within your feathers

Premium MemberDeath To Death

. . . I stoned the lord of death to death
we lye, now, side by side

as

effigies of who we tried to be
among countless
revolutions
among countless
massacres

evaporating into mixtures
of all who passed
that day, united

beyond soils of new shoots
I, a deserter
I, a warrior
I, a beggar
I, a zealot

with the lamb
gathering stones . . .

Just Lyrics

I’m stuck in my head, thinking of things i once said
Wishing that i was just dead, full of so many regrets
I bet nobody could have guessed that my life is a mess
At times it feels like there's a knife in my chest
In the middle of the night as i lye in my bed
