Do you ever feel as if life is passing you by
You're drowning in a sea's whirlpool of flux
and there's no one around to hear you cry
Sometimes life sucks! It really sucks
There are times when I feel like I don't belong
Annoyed by friends who can act like schmucks
I try to do the right thing, but it turns out wrong
Sometimes my life sucks! It really sucks.
I wrote a poem and had it formatted to enter
It was an edited sonnet; romantic lines in redux
But when I hit 'submit' I cursed my Tormentor
My computer sucks! It really sucks.
I'm often plagued with decisions and questions
and find myself standing at a crossroads, a crux
and all I get are a lot of ridiculous suggestions
Feeling bewildered sucks! Yeah, it sucks.
Life should be filled with sunshine and flowers
I fell in love, but he didn't love me back. Shucks!
My heart was broken. Tears fell in salty showers
Love sucks! Today, everything does.
Single sexy stuttering simple sue,
Loved lean laughing lisping Lou,
She spoke softly slow sentences,
Lou lisped loud without pretences!
Often were out on romantic dates,
By heart and mind such good mates,
Joked and laughed their whole time,
Spoke in stutters and lisped in rhyme!
Said she one day in romantic note,
How do you likke mmmy leather coat?
He laughed lisped “ you loos fo dood!
By that he meant ‘you look so good!’
Days passed,they were ready to wed,
She wanted him one day in her bed,
She made the bold move and asked
If hhhe wwwould stay for breakfast?
He feigned a surprise with a smile,
He pretended about it for a while,
Then with a lisp he said “Yef, I fould!”
With that he meant “Yes! I would!”
That night together in love cocoon,
He opened all his heart to her soon,
To ‘suck’ with her was always his dream,
So she promptly took him out for an ice cream!
For those in love who stutter or lisp,
Here is a message, short and crisp,
If you want to say something inviting,
Do communicate your love, in writing!

there's not much you can do with love

Spring is a bad time to love someone
before you know it they're up and gone
Autumn is no time
to fall in love.
Don't fall in love in the Fall

Suffering
My heart cries out to you
like the moon cries out to the night.
I trusted you with my love,
obviously you couldn’t care less.
Why do you do this to me?
Why me?
Is it funny? Is it cool?
How is it that you make me out to be the fool?
I cry and cry till I just can’t no longer.
The scars on my heart will never fade away.
Stuck there as a constant reminder of my pain.
Was that your intention?
Did you want me to suffer?
Please….oh please…end my suffering.
I can't go on like this.
I have to leave,and soon.
If i run, Would you follow?
Or would you just wait,
knowing i'd come back.
I try to stay away..
Your love sucks me in.
I know its all lies but i
always believe them.
I have no strength.
He has no mercy.
To him it's the perfect couple.
To me it's a nightmare
Many times I've thought of him
I can't get rid of the pain
Sulking around until someone asks what's wrong
Even my dog looks sympathetic
Right to him I wish I could go
Anyone could see my love for him
Better off dead
Love sucks when they don't love you back
Everyday is miserable
This is what love is not,
It comes and breaks people's hearts,
You can't be sure about it,
If the feeling is true or not.
Love is suppose to be a good thing,
All it does when it's over... hurts,
It crushes, burns and smashes hearts,
But that's a risk we all take from the start.
A risk, a chance what's the change?,
Love cannot be arranged,
no one knows when it comes and goes,
When it comes... be prepared to let it go.
