I stare at the girl through my looking glass.
In her smile, self-deprecation sighs.
Voices in her head whisper chaos,
as she screams internally for attention,
begging any deity above to save her.

Oh dear, doesn't she know?
The looking glass might just crack,
from a world where fight becomes flight.

but is modesty the only veil

Today, too many Christians have settled for Yahweh’s Promises
Without experiencing the full power of Adonai
The promises of Yahweh are True
The Reality of Adonai is the fulfillment of those Promises

Adonai is the Ruler, Master, and Owner 
He has the final say
As we pray, we surrender our lives to Him!

Looking Forward Too

In the rush to satisfy
                                     one must think of himself

I envision this beast sharpening her enormous claws
maybe a velvety black puma with yellow eyes
terrified, my hair stood straight up on end
am I being watched from the shadows?

No One Comes Looking

I was eight years old the first time I realized,  
no one was coming to save me.  
That I could scream ,
until my throat bled raw,  
cry until my eyes swelled shut,  
beg until my knees bruised-
against the floor,

no one would come.

Two formidable contenders are battling for the crown, each making grand promises. Where do we go wrong? What wisdom does our Bible impart about speaking in tongues? The Looking Glass

Amidst all the maylay we emerged
like growing seeds immune
to the harvest
Time spent in darkness bought
us things we needed
during the purge
Missing the past is absurd for
it's just a memory of
retained but forgotten
words
A grain of sand in an hourglass
clearly shows us the material
isn't meant to last
What we do take with us 
are lessons of the past
that mirror
reflecting

Looking to the Harvest

A lunar luster spills a silvershine
cascade of nebulating moonshine lilt
onto a night-time field, drawing a quilt
of pale radiance over the still vine. 

A myriad of glowing serpentine
twines sleep.—but, slithering round its stout stilt,
a wakeless plant is working out its tilt.—
It’s fruit will not be ripe enough for wine.

So see I, amidst the flourishing grape,
